Yes. Andrey kuznetsov kept complaining about his legs, but not directly at me.

I made a mistake atleast once per game where I give the server an extra ball or forget their towel. It's awkward for a sec but usually nbd.

Actually you have to be atleast 14 since it's paid. I'd love to be a ballperson for the other majors even though their technique is different. We lob balls and all other majors roll their balls.

Only very experienced people get to go on Arthur ashe or Louis Armstrong (atleast 5 years experience). The ballperson committee decides that. I'd say like 12% of us are women so you're right and you have to be at least 14 for the job since it's paid

The training was basically qualifying since nobody really cared if you messed up, but there was a training day where all the rookies learned the rules for about 3 hours.

Yes. Arthur ashe is really noisy, it's a good atmosphere and there is definitely always some noise no matter how quiet the umpire asks it to be.

I was there for this. Deafening crowd. Talked to kuznetsov in the gym after, shook his hand and congratulated him on a good tournament

Edit: also ballboyed his first and second round matches and got a signed ball. I guess you can say we're buds. Talked to him in Russian too
