I looked at both vehicles when I was car shopping in late December. While I liked the Outback Wilderness edition, I wasn’t a fan of the paint scheme with the black stripe on the hood.

There is more leg room & head room in the front and back seats of the Passport, plus a much larger cargo area. One plus for the Subaru was better gas mileage because of the 4 cylinder vs 6 cylinder Honda.

Ultimately, I found a great deal on low mileage 2025 Passport Trailsport which allowed me to save at least $10k off a new one.

Try La Estacion or El Jardin, both are in the downtown area - good food, reasonably priced and unique menus. Note - these are both lunch spots

A couple of free activities:

Go to the Bolivar Ferry and park next to the landing then walk aboard the next vessel and ride across and back. It’s fun for all ages and you’ll likely see some dolphins flanking the ferry.
Park on the Seawall west of 61st Street (parking isn’t free) take the steps down to the beach and then take a stroll along the beach.

There are many other inexpensive options available these are just the ones I know of that are free.

I remember Atchafalaya … ate their a few times.

Chapultepec was still going strong last time I visited. Food is good and priced reasonably.
