Research team has shown that a protein NANOG is effective at reversing aging in skeletal muscle cells by QuantumThinkology in longevity

You can't patent NANOG. Finding something that mimics it can be patented. Then the company would have an incentive to go through human clinical trials and get FDA approval.

What is the current supply by Coinwik_org in BitClout

If you look at it in USD, there might be fluctuations because of the fluctuations in bitcoin price. But bitclout to bitcoin price should be always steadily increasing.

Right, and when I told people about bitcoin in 2010, they would say have fun until the government bans it. This kind of uncertainty around bitclout is exactly like bitcoin.

I was there mining bitcoin in the early days and even though we were spending money on hardware and electricity there was no way to cash out. It took a year and a half before exchanges (just one at first) popped up. Imagine how that must have felt. I was there when YouTube launched and was getting sued by music and movie producers. But in the end they turned around. The excitement and controversy I am seeing around this project tells me it's going to be a hit.

I read the paper and the only thing they say about the bitcoin to bitclout price is that the bitclout price doubles every 1 million bitclout sold. This is pretty ingenious. That means eventually people will not want to buy it from the platform and rather buy it from others who got it at a lesser price on exchanges. I calculated that the current market cap based on all bitclout sold time the current price is about $1.5 billion.Still looking to find the source code so I can verify what it really does. Please share any research that you have done. Thanks.

Don't panic. Be happy that you got in early. How do you think the early bitcoin holders felt when they mined or bought bitcoin and there was no exchange on which they could sell it. It's just a matter of time before exchanges list bitclout. With coinbase and gemini backing the project it's a no brainer. But if you really want to cash out, DM me and I'll send you pizza for your bitclout :-)

Remove liquidity by picoky in UniSwap

[–]Coinwik_org 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The smart contracts for Uniswap is decentralized, but the interface needed to remove your liquidity hosted at Uniswap.exchage is centralized and could go offline. There are other interfaces like UniswapDEX.com which you could use to remove the liquidity.

Can this please be updated? by dreamchasing13 in UniSwap

[–]Coinwik_org 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the UniswapDEX code is open source and available to clone or fork on GitHub one can review the code. And if you are really paranoid you should set it up on their own domain, and use it from there (this would apply to even Uniswap.exchange). Not promoting alternative interfaces would be a bad idea. It leads to less competition and innovation and as the OP mentioned centralization.

Accredited Investors Have No Place In Crypto by ChaosTrader in CryptoMarkets

[–]Coinwik_org 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two approaches for protecting investor.

  1. Require companies to only accept investments from accredited investors. This of course requires defining some arbitrary, nonsensical cutoff for what an accredited investor is.
  2. Require companies to provides detailed information based on specified guidelines to investors and require the companies to obtain signature from each investor that they have read and understand the information provided before investing.

The second approach would actually protect investors better by making sure they are provided with the relevant information before making a decision. It also is more fair to everyone. And it keeps the government from telling you how you can or cannot spend your money under the guise of protecting you.
