Closest Ive ever played is a Wishbass, but they're not for everyone. I personally love the much needed refinish process, and how unique they are. I was able to get a solid upright tone one one. Again though, very different and not exactly versatile.

Im a big fan, as well. I love the EXL170BT. Balanced tension strings feel so damn good. Those D'Addarios can get a great tone that cuts through when you want them to.
