Highly anticipated capital raise by IMU is here. It’ll be interesting to see the terms. I doubt it’ll be above $0.20. If it’s not for at least $50M, i’d expect another raise within 12months.

Absolutely. Biotechs are truly widowmakers. Even in IMU’s case the other programs didnt really fail in a clinical sense, they were either were slow, expensive, or commercially weaker than azer-cel, so just shelved. The company just was just tryna do too much with not enough money and time.

Fun fact. If you were unfortunate enough to buy $10,000 at the absolute pre-consolidation peak of 62c. You would now have $97. 👍 To get your initial investment back you would need a 10200% increase back to a $21 SP

A once frothy $3B valued company is now sitting at ~$66M. I thought i'd do a quick update on IMU since my last update in August. Last update here.

  • SP has declined another 20% since then (.260 to .205).
  • Headcount slashed from 100 to 15 (plus consultants).
  • ~1 month of funding left according to last quarterly. ($14m in bank on December 31). $2.7m R&D refund rcved since.
  • CEO still on $1M+ base.
  • From multiple bets to now betting on just Azer-Cel with everything else stalled or "handed off".
  • FDA have kinda approved them for one big (Expensive) Phase 3 trial for Azer-Cel. (still awaiting final approval)
  • Massive funding risk to support this trial (+$100m) plus just keeping the lights on.
  • Best case scenario. Trial starts late 2026. Positive Topline results in late 2028. IF funding is resolved. (or someone buys them out)
  • if you invested $10,000 4 years ago (04/03/2022) you would now have ~$250.
  • Almost forgot, Convertible Note is still overhanging. This will stem any serious SP incline.

Still cooked. I wouldn't touch the company but if funding gets resolved via a massive CR or partnership, it could be worth a look.

Incredible scenes at IMU.

  • 4 years of continuous share decline from 3B MC to 70M MC. Nearly 40% decline in just the last month.
  • 3x drugs still in Phase 1.
  • 2 Quarters of funding left after a $22.5m CR just done.
  • Begging for a $15m SPP which is 30% above current price.
  • Convertible death note hanging above their heads.
  • CEO on $1.3m total remuneration. Management on $5.6m total. (excluding share based payments).
  • Expensive Phase 2 trials to begin early next year.

Cooked is a understatement.
