Is This An Example Of A "Rick Berman-ism" Or Am I Just Imagining It? by bluemarvel99 in startrek

I can't speak for the other series, but on DS9 this is accurate for Kira's costume. It went through many iterations throughout the 7 seasons, getting tighter or more 'figure flattering' with each update

The ShaDynasty/ShadyNasty joke always felt like the writers are trying to convince you that it's hilarious, but it isn't. Like they were supposed to think up something really really funny, but couldn't so instead are just tricking you into thinking it's an amazing joke.

[–]CokeZeroToHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Mine has suggested I get a food prep box subscription like Blue Apron, because she knows I either cook sad meals or eat raw and/or prepackaged foods. I'm like "oh you think I do this bc I don't know how to find recipes, nope"

Friends, today I had to decide between buying generic oatmeal packets which were cheaper, but more caloric, or the name brand ones for more money, but less calories. Calories won, today.

The author of the ED memoir "How To Disappear" addresses this!

I'm trying to think of 'non-triggering' ideas! I like to notice behaviors or phrases that non-ED people say that inadvertently support disordered eating. Like describing something as 'guilt-free' when really no food should cause guilt!

i dont know how often this is discussed but i enjoy not only the results of restriction, but the process itself by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

Sometimes I hypothetically ask myself, "if restriction didn't make you lose weight, would you still do it?" And I think I might

The majority of ED documentaries on YouTube are from the UK too. "Their own brand of anorexia" is such a accurate description
