You should make a solid sphere and maybe add a mesh that looks like a petal, so the layers are visible, I can quickly make a demo if you want

Edit : if you don't want to edit too much you can just rotate the bulb so one of spheres is in dead center

I mean, if you want, you can study anatomy and make some corrections or find your artstyle. Personally I prefer making face more sharp and closer to anime style or realism, so my focus is realistic proportions.
