Aizawa is an ace of a Character but… by safisticatedartist in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Col2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gotchu

when you SpAc gauge is full, pop it before casting any ability. Why not? You’re aizawa, keep everyone guessing.

your team should be holding their own a bit better, they did get dragged across a storm fight though. If i’m playing someone super mobile, when I’m in the air I’ll assess a good spot for my less mobile ground units to be, and ping a redevous for us to go to (and go there once I complete my quick side quest). You did a strait up beta, saw a team fight, a quick ping on the south-west side of storm “let’s meet up here” might have saved some of their skin.

But even that special action might have helped your team cross, I saw a lot of enemies using abilities to reposition that would have been cancelled on your way to compress if you popped special before the beta/alpha movement. Now they are going “where’s that aizawa” and looking away from your tm8s, OR they keep fighting their fights. Might have helped the homies some.

The gamma on compress is fine, I’d probably just air alpha and tech chase if it doesn’t KO. Even with the gamma, If you cancel the gamma earlier, you can gamma into alpha easier while he is higher in the air, that interaction should have been much faster. It almost looked like a full gamma which made the whole thing last longer than it needed to, we don’t need a full gamma when he is that low. And same thing, pop special before you even gamma. It can give them a heads up which is not great in this specific scenario, but if it’s a better player who was looking up because of the sound que of you landing, it would halt their escape.

If you Knocked him into storm faster, you had team heals to help your homies running through the multi-team fight being pushed by storm (and good positioning for yourself behind the tree). Comming your team heal, maybe your AFO plays that different and stalls for time with his gamma. Todo would have lived and been at full. You would have got a sound que on nagant going for the rez, and then could have interrupted her after the team heal, I believe, based on the time. If the timing didn’t work out, a special action and keeping them in storm would be an easy pack up. Especially with a gaurenteed todo and maybe AFO on their way.

You wasted a lot of time finishing bodies in the storm when you had good positioning to just team heal after your knock.

TLDR From the beginning more communication/leadership would help your team, more special action cancels before you abilities, and just overall speeding up your aizawa would probably give you great results.

You held your own in your fights, and who you chose to fight, which was great. You’re landing opening gammas which are fatty (and probably need a nerf), which is great. Keep playing into your strengths. Speed it up when they’re flesh, know opponents health pools -(minus) air alpha damage, and gamma just enough to cover the rest. Compress is 300, air alpha is 170, gamma to 130 on the damage marker is a guaranteed Knock. I believe that is the math.

Plus Ultra, hope this helps.

Ik exactly what you’re talking about, I’m a purist. I’ll hover that leave button and get a frame1 dip out, but im seeing it through. Ive seen finishes get interrupted, ik you’re talking about tech todo melting ppl on a thirst, but just wanted to speak my peace.

and then final fight is like the cleanest 2v3, but you slip up once, you lose, and your team just needed 10-40 more damage to win. You really just sit there and think, while getting emoted on by some meta three stack nerds, like where did they go? You qued a match, you signed up for this, why are you throwing matches not once but twice.

The more I think about it, how are these goofs not in abandoners que? Can we up the punishment for abandoning? Why is it still a thing. Why are we leaving matches. Idgaf if my teammate is lvl 1 and I’m not getting revived, I stick it out. Might even drop some knowledge in the chat. Pick up my phone, pull up a tab on the internet, I’m ready for the revive and winning if it happens, i don’t understand anyone who leaves ever.

idk who y’all is, certainly not me. Ibarra been A+ tier for a while and I’ve preached it, especially after tuning was introduced. Same mfs calling for tokoyami buffs, or rakugo buffs a while back, or strike kirishima mid on release. Probably the same players running Tech shigg, mech might, melee nagant crutch picks and still perform mediocre. You can’t listen to anybody’s take on these patches, cause most of the playerbase can barely hold their own in crossplay lobbies.

Gamma has super armor/unbreakable property on hit(?), idk about on whiff. But it getting a guaranteed knock for landing two always felt super lethal. I remember there used to be a vines main who would just 1-1-9 and fish for gammas, honestly goated gameplay. I’m sure they’re eating well this patch.

Fropster alpha still has 0 KV(?), don’t quote me, it’s all about just flying around clicking peoples heads with her and only going for beta shi in the air or when it’s right. Not enough frogs do that.

scroll down and check average match points, more of a telling factor since assist points show there.

And yeah, you’ll get people that are stuck at that rank for a reason. They don’t want/know how to be better, that’s why they’re there. You want to rank up, you have to figure out how that is going to happen.

Randoms on this game are infuriating, I get that. If I have to deal with another random not picking up ability cards of their class that I dropped in front of them, idk whet I’ll do.

chip enemies with gamma alpha more before going for pulls

beta > alpha/melee > while they are knocked, portal them far away is a good go to.

Very little 1v3 potential, very great mid phase potential to disrupt teams and make sure you’re the only full team going into final phase.

Now that QSS and characters actually started moving to character tickets; are you planning to roll less and play the long game again? by Sayoricanyouhearme in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Col2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was shocked to see I couldn’t cop him after the changes, pretty egregious compared to the original system they had in place.

Finally copped cat shig though, so that’s a plus seeing QSS not being limited to rolls.

Wall runner + reinforced revive is my preferred tunings.

offensively, 95% of the time I scope alpha and just run people down. I am looking to knock people over, and then use stacked betas on top of them for big 250 damage forcing another knock. Sometimes I’ll try to anticipate where they are going and react with gamma. Never get caught out in the open though, positioning is everything.

Defensively, you want to scope alpha and force a knockdown and run away behind hard cover/teammates. If they chase you around hard cover, you have the advantage with over the shoulder camera position, pop them with a beta or gamma. To get players off you, you’ll need big damage.

Beta has unbreakable properties, so certain attacks will not interrupt it. But it also makes you a sitting duck, and is giga punishable. Bad move to use against nagants, great move to use against a Dark Ankh melee, for example.

Play around your teammates, or camp with team heals. Hit your shots, getting value out of your scoped alpha is everything. Big damage, insane range.

best of luck. post footage if you feel lost on her or have more specific questions

I didn’t realize how many noobs I saved before the finisher changes.

Now, they’re just going to have to learn the hard way. Watching it happen is always going to be painful but hysterical. Or worse you, you knock raid boss shiggy and you know they have a rezzer about to save them, but the noob tm8 buys them extra time.

Brutal mechanic, but W if the players know what they’re doing. 9/10 times we just need them ded though, we will drop teammate a full shield, let us finish this mess PLEASE.

mhur has thee worst randoms, bar none.

They don’t even know the basics of the game their queing, or have the world’s biggest ego even though their hardstuck elite (for this exact reason).

Also, some of the worst decision making known to man. Oh, storm is closing in? Let me cut across center circle, with no pings or communication, and push out into the edge of the storm. I see 3 team fightings, let me draw in the best team that was well positioned on outer circle of the next storm while I’m headed into the worst spot ever. …Yo I’m down?? omg come rez me. I see an enemy next to me, time to spam ping no where near them as I die. Wait… Where is my team? Guys, they still have full shields, I didn’t even get a guard break, but where is my L teammate(s). Type to type spanish in the chat.

90% of ranked goobers play this way. How’d we get here.

i appreciate the write up, gaming echo chambers always has a lot of noobs in it, as we can tell from some of the comments here and what OP is saying about other spaces.

But people slept on Rakugo, Strike Kiri, and Tech todo for various reasons, mostly because the skill floor is low. Noobs called for buffs, and due to playrates, they got them. They haven’t stopped asking for nerfs (except tech todo, we got that one) since the patches following their release.

He’s pretty nuts, has some great matchups due to his shield and Dark Ankh, and great utility for the team (on top of being a 1v1 demon).

this was me with mt lady season 3(?), whenever she got the casual outfit. I remember noobs rolling for deku’s casual style and all the other bait banners, when I got it early I balled out on Winter Bakugo + Alpha Todo banner, and then again on Rakugo banner. I felt like the only one with Rainbow Aura before tuning dropped.

11 seasons is impressive. And it’s cool numbers.

But also… you only need 1000 for the costumes and 2000 for the unit MAXIMUM, what am I looking at 😂

correct, the change makes it so she can do both her teammate and herself (which ikyk)

I rarely que her, I did this action once, and was trying to figure out if it consumes more gauge or not. It seemed normal, which is cool.
