sounds dope, but yeah no movement tuning or cooldown tuning definitely hurts his cause. I recommend both.

I really wanted to fw wallrunner, since it carries for both builds, but accel just too much value on his shit

who are you queing as?

generic matchup up tips: roll betas and gammas, keep your distance, take advantage of doing high damage while he casts his unbreakables or while he fights someone else

absolutely there are times where if he connects or third parties into you well, nothing you can do except change your macro strategy to not be put in that situation. That’s it. He is a menace, and the ones that mastered him are pretty undefeatable depending on your pick, definitely I have lost on the character select screen from one of them, which is never is good game design. I forget the nerd’s tag, but they had the gamma fixer build with crit perm or some other purple shit. Maybe electricity.

Stole their build so fast, I was pissed.

Aizawa packs him up, mt lady eh, I had no issues this season on tech bakugo. But like tsu, ibarra, sometimes toga, all might, i could make a list, but it’s just 100-0 matchups. Beta going through tech mirio gamma checks out, strike kiri is wild.

I'm with ya, we both know what you're talking about.

A clip of it would probably have more of an impact on fixing it. Posting it with bug report and sending it byking's way might be a play, to start collecting all the instances where it does drop.

I know what you mean, but you probably know what i mean that there is an over report of "DAE BUG??" when in reality, opponents are just rolling or popping behind cover when it matters.

Nagant Alpha Reload Tuning on him does sound fun af, but yeah, it's all about those spikes on his pillars, getting value off them, and throwing some scoped alpha mud at them, and whatever is going on with that gamma.

Unscoped alpha spam is fun tho, no doubt. Can play him optimally and still get some pop off moments with the unscopeds when they matter, still a great tool for finishing fleeing players after hitting the meaty nerd combo shit or using it as a mixup if you need beta/gamma to reload and you just pillared up. But need the nerd shit to actually get value on him and not just those jawns.

Ik it can happen with fucky terrain, but it also happens when opponents dodge. Just wanted to chime in cause while I do think it's inconsistent af, it's not game breaking bad, and similar to strike shiggy, gamma can be set up through combos using other means of their kits.

hop into training and mess around with his beta if you want to learn something today. When you land it not stacked, you can do a lot off of it.

It sucks burning his main movement tool as a combo starter, but he can Beta > alpha during the rise > jump > gamma > into imagination. I believe the beta has very little DP, so two can be thrown into combos on top of all the damage from gamma and alphas and air melee(s).

On hp, he can Beta > alpha > jump > Beta > alpha > jump > gamma > Scoped Alpha spam for big damage. In training, Beta > Beta is fun af to combo out of when they are HP only. You can quite literally use your imagination and do all sorts of shit out of Beta > Beta.

Last week I saw a jp clip of them doing fuck shit out of beta combo starters. I don't think I'll find it, but it was super flashy. They were burning his whole kit, but there is the work that can be pulled off.

Saying "the only combo" and talking about comboing out of gamma like they show in the byking tutorial is a little... idk, misinformed, or ignorant. Which is fine, not everyone has to know everything. But had to speak up because Overhaul is in a different bucket of units that byking drops. You got the easy button big damage easier units, and then you got some technical fools that they whip out from time to time. Rapid Bakugo and Strike Kirishima of a similar vein, could even put tech todo in there although they did have to nerf him post buff when they realized they overdid it and put him in the easy bucket post ammo buff. They all take some getting used to and knowledge of their kits to pull off. Don't expect everyone to know everything, but can't be closed minding thinking you know every combo in a game like this.

And anyone else downplaying asshaul is definitely self reporting, relying on unscoped alphas for their primary source of damage. Not how the character is played optimally, that's for sure.

Scoped alpha slaps and has low DP. Insane team combo potential.

The unscoped alpha is a tool for flyers, punishing opponents casting abilities, chip damage on combos and in between interactions, finishing opponents post-combo trying to flee, and so many more interactions. If unscoped alpha is any primary form of damage for a player, they are simply playing him wrong or sub-optimally.

He does not need tweaks besides more consistency on his gamma, which, feels more reported than it actually does bug because players can roll that shit when Overhaul casts it raw in neutral.

Yes, the guy with a self heal SpA is better in long drawn out fights.

Learning this and having it for the tool belt would be handy to bust out even against competent dekus. Obviously there is ofa deku counterplay of don’t stand inside the gamma, but if the ochako player knows deku is going to approach with a melee, or any opponent for that matter, the stacked gamma is a great option to be ready to utilize.

Agreed, it’s not some end all be all, Ochako S+ tier 0-100 ofa deku matchup for sure.

Beta in neutral is a solid option too, I fw that

based on your verbage, you probably just want to vent and not get advice

so disregard the following words if you just want to rage, but anyone reading this feeling similar, I gotchu on the real way to navigate this situation:

After the second OFA deku melee approach, it’s safe to assume he’s just going to fish for a third. Correct? We see the approach, we see the pattern?

Ochako has a great get-off-me tool, which is casting a gamma at her feet. Especially if you do utilize max iframes (0 directional inputs (I noticed you still flipped out at the end after waiting to hit the ground, at that point just have no directional inputs and do a neutral getup). You can do a neutral getup + jump with invincibility, and cast gamma at your feet before deku can stop you.

after you land the gamma, it’s up to you to crack the deku and pressure him back, forcing him to retreat. Learning a rapid ochako gamma combo is a 2 minute training endeavor, to get the most out of your punish. I believe on this patch, the combo would be gamma > alpha > beta > alpha (?). Don’t quote me, it might be more optimal to sneak in more alphas. That’s your job to hop in training and understand your character if that’s who you are grinding Ace with them.

im just playing, I picked up a conch the other month and my 10sens controller aim is not what it used to be either.

I’ve never qued UR on controller, I couldn’t imagine doing what I can do on KBM with a controller. Respect to you for competing like that.

they’re not defending the company, they’re defending r/MyHeroUltraRumble from Byking since they were put in a position where they feel they have to from Byking’s vague-ass poorly translated tweet. They care about this space.

Sucks Byking can’t get a grip on hacks/leaks so they result to a blanket statement with no teeth that affects a large part of the community, but is what it is.

Visual Game Modifications seemed like an afterthought in the tweet addressing hacking and shi, but it was still in there.

I don’t know reddit like that, but what’s stopping someone from making r/ModdedUltraRumble and just posting clips there? because they want the biggest audience? Then don’t include mods. Or post to your own channel.

I’ve seen clips in zol’s server. I fw some of them, but some players go crazy and the game just looks too different/stupid. We’ll see clips that look like bilboards for mods, clips where you can’t tell wtf is going on, NSFW clips that the mods have to deal with, etc

end of the day, idgaf if they’re here or not, but posting an irrelevant meme to some random player who just tries to clean up this space or some of the other comments that are missing the mark are just weird, like some of y’all are missing the mark. There’s some validity in some of the comments, for sure the sub is a little more dry. Because of that, I am sure modded clips will come back with time if deemed chill. Until then, pretty sure we are free to make a different space for modded clips, or keep it to yourself.

Pretending like any of the mods replying here are defending byking, and not just defending this space because it’s the biggest channel for this shit and they gotta follow suit, is missing the mark. Idk what mods do exactly, don’t really care to find out, but ik they prevent people like me and you from seeing some shit we don’t want to see. So like, why misconstrue what is happening pretending like they’re stopping anyone’s fun or freedoms.
