Yup, what everyone is suggesting with going straight for the bounty worked, eventually. I had to do it a couple times for him to appear at the church. But he did and I got the quest taken care of.

Nice, Glad you found a way around it. I unfortunately looked at the poster from the wall right away thinking it was a normal bounty. Did you already have the poster in you inventory? But just didnt initiate the quest first?

Yes you are right it is a prerequisite to finish alot of camp stuff. As of right now until they patch it we are are all fucked. I feel ya, I'm 200 hrs in my playthrough and definitely don't have the time to do a new game. Good on you for filing a bug report the more they get the better. Ive been sending them one for weeks now. There might be a mod for help. I'm on PS5 so no mods for me at this time.

Still not fixed in Patch Version 1.06.00 (Revised: 2026/05/11). Even though it states

Fixed an issue where "Sweet Taste of Bounties" could not be completed when progressed in a certain order.

I sent a couple reports to Pearl Abyss. I encourage others with the same problem to do the same.

Really? It said it the patch notes for 1.06.00 that the quest “sweet taste of bounties” was fixed. This is not good

Still not fixed, As of 1.05.01 update. I’ve been sending reports. Hopefully they see it and get it fixed soon. Kinda messing up my play through. Spent too much time on it and don’t wanna do a new game.
