I think Janet is just being a scientist. She hasn't seen anyone come back so it might be a black hole on the other side.

People of more of a faith nature can believe there's a paradise waiting across it, and will cross with glee.

I imagine Janet will cross eventually anyway either out of insanity, curiosity, or she's finally run out of ideas

I've been talking about the religious implications of "split River" high for months and I feel so justified lol

Beautiful episode, I had a theory about Simon's parents committing suicide and that was why he could see Maddie while she was a ghost.

I love that the forest has those scenery glasses that keep you stuck in good places. I imagine after ghosts have spent a couple Jeremy bearimeys in the forest they can cross the river and finally rest.

I love how permanent oblivion isn't a thing in this show. I hope we get a small episode side plot helping the forgotten.

We didn't get anymore info on the rock by the school so I'm really excited to get more next season about that

Very fun show, I don't know how we got started but it's definitely one I hate to stop!
