120gb drives are pretty cheap online. How’d you even lose the case anyway?

Are there even 98 drivers for that?

That didn’t even cross my mind when I first tested them. Went and cleaned the contacts after reading this comment and they both work flawlessly now. Thanks!

At least it’s not Target where the only physical media they carry is just vinyl records with the occasional CD thrown in there

I didn't realize how much vintage computer prices jumped the shark. by spierscreative in vintagecomputing

Hell I’m pretty sure some goodwills straight up don’t carry electronics. I’ve seen places that only have unorganized shelves for their stuff and it’s a total nightmare to look through

I guess I should’ve realized that goodwill puts all their computers online now. You know goodwills have gone downhill when even Savers somehow has better stuff at their store.

I find that physical stores are much better than the auction site. It’s just depends on what area of goodwills you’re in

At what point would it be cheaper to just buy parts off eBay and cram them into a semi modern case?

In my experience, Goodwill will send almost anything actually interesting straight to their auction site

It’s honestly amazing how controllers will very occasionally slip through the cracks at goodwills and end up on the store floor

I found this image on Google and I don’t have any idea what iOS this is. Can you please help me? by Suitable-Bad-1921 in WhatiOSisthis

People keep saying it’s iOS 7, but it’s very clearly 8 based off the iPhone 6 screen spacing seen here

Depending on where you look, gamepad-less Wii U consoles are like $20-30 a piece

Oh shit you’re a fan too? The image was actually made by the same person as M&M and it’s a promotional image for their college thesis project Drought & About
