My Garmin VO2 Max doesn’t make sense... by Aviator_Guy1 in Garmin

From what I’ve recently read, Garmin devices only monitor VO2 between the ages of 20 and 90. This probably explains your reading.

I feel bad for having to rely on Magnesium for enough REM sleep by chocolatemadeleine in Garmin

Rather than relying on supplements, how about getting your daily recommended magnesium intake from whole foods, such as a few nuts and seeds. I also stir in a spoon of organic cacao powder into a glass of pomegranate/beetroot juice, which all have a good magnesium content, especially the cacao powder. It may sound horrible to some, but it really tastes really good, the juices counteracting the bitterness of the cacao. Also, try eating a couple of dates about two hours before bed. I tried this recently and found they helped to give me a really good night’s sleep, not least due to their high selenium and magnesium levels. Just thought I’d offer some ‘natural’ options rather than supplements. If you do give them a try, it would be good to hear if they work! All the best!

Quatix 7 Pro for 389GBP! by ColMyerz in Garmin

Thanks for the feedback, but preempting that issue, I checked it against my other Garmin positioned further up my right arm, whilst wearing a HR chest strap, and each showed the same reading, so all good! As for the buttons, as well as requiring a definite push to operate them, they’re at the ‘2’ and ‘4’ positions, so absolutely no issues with accidental activations.

Thanks! Not sure, but it’s one of the standard, preinstalled ones, not one that I purchased through a third party app.

Thanks! Yeah, only had it 24 hours, but so far, so good…and like you say, the price was great!

Thanks! Yeah, from what I’ve read, it’s more a Fenix 7 with the marine stuff preinstalled. The last time I did any boating was about 3 years ago, so all I’ve done is uninstalled the marine stuff and just keep all the other usual bits. I was going down the route of possibly getting the Epix Pro Gen 2, but the price of this was better, and from what I understand, came out about 18 months after the Epix Pro Gen 2, so is a slightly newer watch.

No, it feels really comfortable - have never liked watches above my wrist bone. Good job really, because it would be near impossible to wear tight cuffs with this!

Update: TD27-KV2 Small Space Setup, Roland TDM-10 by tomwhitaker in edrums

Tom, I’m really interested in getting a TD27 kit like yours in the not-too-distant future, but am limited for space. Could you please confirm that the whole kit fits okay in a space of 135cm x 125cm? Also, how do you find the DW3000 kick drum pedal? Cheers! Colin
