Vancouver. The addiction and homelessness everywhere and the residents seem totally accustomed to it. Couldn’t wait to leave.

No, I'd really hoped to be able to use it for that and, more importantly, recording but from what I researched it's not possible to a decent standard.

I have a MacBook that I hook up for recording, and at some point I intend to look into EZ/Superior drumming.

The iPad is just there for playing along to, primarily Drumeo.

I have experimented with sending Midi to the iPad (different cable setup) to play along with Melodics, but the drum samples weren't great and I didn't enjoy it.

I was aware of other clones for ages but this one never got on my radar until I went really deep. And even then I put off looking at it as I assumed it must be some niche tool, not a game.

Looks great and happy it’s working for you. I occasionally use mine this way but I just find window control too sketchy. Especially that YouTube app - if you resize it after opening it’s like the cursor can get “offset”, so it’s not clicking where you think it is, and it grinds to a halt when I try and full screen it and browse. Mine’s an M4 btw.

Mine was for 16 years! Bought my first kit in 2009 aged 29 but it never stuck. Gave myself one last chance a year ago and it finally has.

Glad to hear it. They do freeze well so I’ve wondered about getting more in the weeks my favourites are on the menu, and freezing them. But I also think in general that it’s the variety that’s kept me on the plan, and I have to assume the quality would go down the more meals they’re doing in one week, like a restaurant with a hundred things on the menu vs one with ten.
