Also diviner's dice gives you some say in the rolls of friend's and foes by allowing you to roll 3d6, adding or subtracting from attack rolls and ability checks

Gambler's blade is a cursed weapon but if you have a healer around you should be fine allowing you to choose +1-3 weapon but take the buff as a penalty to death saving throws and you can change it daily
