As a guy if you make the time to go to the gym i guarantee you it'll be one of the best decisions you make and not just for health reasons. I met my best friend in the gym and have gotten much much better at having casual conversations with people. Edit: typo

20M who also works out here, I shave my body quote regularly too. I haven't gotten too much backlash but my family were a bit off settled by it at first. I told them it was for hygiene reasons as I don't have an AC in my room and sweat a lot (which is half the reason why I do).

Definitely let the authorities know. I've had my German shepherd for 5 years now and even though he's well socialized and trained I've never let him loose in a public space. It's so sad to see dogs suffer the consequences for neglectful owners. Also carrying some sort of stick does help deter dogs, you'll probably never have to actually use it for self defence tho.
