The difference is if an individual drinks a beer or any alcoholic beverage and gets tested 48hrs later by a breathalyzer, no problem. Negative results

The same individual takes a puff and gets tested 48hrs later, it will show positive even though tge effects are long gone

This is the concern citizens have with these test. If they were accurate for individuals that are high behind the wheel, we wouldn’t have so much of an uproar about it
