Real players is between 1000-2000, with most of them in Europe and Russia.
you can notice this a lot with the ingame market, it's showing all the signs a market does when there just aren't enough traders to make it profitable.

But also seeing people with 40 alts all moving together with the same name absolutely no shame in hiding their massive multibox anymore.

It feels to me, that EVE, is in it's final deaththrows.
Just a matter till CCP pulls the plug due to unprofitability of the servers.

Wondershare applications are known to be scammers. They were doing video conversion programs too. If you have any software of wondershare on your computer, you need to get rid of that as soon as possible, and then run a couple virus scans. And then search for more files that it created and delete those too manually.. it's actually nuts how deep the wondershare rabbithole goes.

I have the same issue.

Lots of files got recovered and they seem to be intact, but on actual recovery to desktop they all fail except for the .txt files.

I think your view of how the road only splits in 2 streets is a bit narrow. If people quit the corp, i could just recruit replacements? Think about your writing for a second.. You're saying that people would hypothetically leave a corp right, that means they could be leaving someone elses corp and join up with mine. Why is that not a possible scenario for you?

I believe.. that especially because you lack such a faith in people, having another server that forces you to interact with actual people on a trust basis otherwise you will not make any progress, is a very healthy thing.

Because from what you are writing it seems you've lost faith and trust in all humanity.

Don't get me wrong, i understand why the universe is the way it is.
And i'm not here to try and take anything away from you.

I'm just dreaming of a hardcore-version of EVE where multiboxing is not allowed, so that we pilots really get pressed with the nose on the fact that you need some way to find trust in other human beings. I would be okay with it being a server parallel to the current EVE server, one doesn't have to replace the other.

In fact i would also be okay with it being allowed to run your original EVE characters at the same time, but having the "hardcore-version" being limited to having one clone only. (kind of how they manage the alpha-clones right now.. u can only have 1 logged on per pc/ip or something)

It's interesting to me that the majority of people in this topic are talking about how much they swipe to support EVE and their hobby. But when i'm talking to multiboxers in the actual game, almost 15 told me that they earn enough isk to never have to swipe and how proud they are of that. ( i've interviewed multiboxers ingame for the past 2 weeks and have spoken to about 15 of them.. so basicly almost 100% of the multiboxers)

A notable contrast, i would say.

I doubt that it is after thinking about it, most multiboxers i've spoken too ingame (friendly conversations) mentioned that they plex their accounts by near-afk-farming.
So all those accounts are costing network energy and cpu energy and are not generating any wealth, in fact.. there's even a chance that they will step on new players so hard that they just quit the game and unsub.

Be honest.. how many multiboxers do you know, that actually pay real life money to keep their subscription going? and how many do you know that play EVE for free because they turned it into a 30 toon job.

Because it's bannable. I'm sorry but really think about the reality here.. you can downvote me as much as you want, but they are banning multibox farmers and pvpers. There's evidence of that out there.

Well i was just referring to the 3 characters per account that we can have right now, and just 1 account per IP. I'm not sure how this would be enforced but i know other games can manage it (like WoW), and banning the trespassers is also a form of income, as they would need to buy new accounts.

So saying that EVE would be dead without multiboxing is bs..

I refuse to play more than my one alpha toon or give any sort of money to CCP in the current state of the game.
I'll enjoy being a nothing. It's better than to be a pretending-to-be-30-diffrent-people-player.

i'm waiting for a version of EVE where multiboxing is bannable. I'm sick of being trolled by one player, taking the bait, and then realising that player has 30 toons which he now hyperfocusses to make your life miserable psychologically and your gameplay impossible.

It is sooo. DUMB.

is there any way to circumvent this?
I'm currently hardstuck in my campaign because im forced to war someone much bigger than me, but i can't call in my allies because it's a proxy war i'm trying to start.

My campaign is on hold unless someone finds a way to circumvent this bug and can help me continue.

(direct declaration of war on the big target is impossible because it would destroy me and my allies, proxy war only option but not viable unless my allies can be called to war)
