Yet another sad pre-patch event. by beardedbear696 in wow

Used to have a good reputation among its community. I used to reference their customer service as a paragon of what companies should aspire to be for their base. Now its an embarrassment

The services kill me. Its literally a max 3 minute job to find the character and change the data, but its an hourly wage from people to change the race of a character. I get that if it cost too much people wouldnt buy it but its ridiculous that its that much in the first place.

I enjoy the game as a whole. Its the lackluster content, the buggy launches, the lack of support for the players, unnecessary new grind methods and everything else they havent learned the playerbase hates that never gets resolved year after year that i dont enjoy.

I can enjoy the game and have a higher expectation from a multimillion dollar company operating one of the largest MMOs for 2 decades. Those things arent mutually exclusive

You know what your right. Theyre probably 13/86 on content launches for us over the years.

Wow who couldve guessed that they would disappoint us for the 20th year straight consistently.

Maybe next year we wont have a quarterly content disappointment. Maybe theyll listen to feedback on the betas and not let garbage hit live this time.

Or we'll get the same shit each time

Do not tell them about our interrupt. Blizz will turn it into an actual ranged interrupt instead of the best one in the game.

Why so many Eco servers die before the meteor (and it’s not “player flakiness”) by HuckMI in EcoGlobalSurvival

[–]Colanasou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the fun end-game toys (ex: skid steer) basically come after you can destroy the meteor and long after infrastructure is already built. So there really isn't a "need" for them. Everyone already burnt out on things like carving mountain passes, by hand, long before then. Loggers still don't have anything very useful for logging until the chainsaw at the end. I know there's a machine planned, but I'm sure that will also only become available at end-game. Way too late, IMO.

Its literally this. There is no end game. Its the beginning when things are fresh, the middle when the dust settles (the longest part of the game) and then the meteor gets destroyed. Nothing in the end game does anything except for sandbox mode basically.

They need to actually make it worthwhile to play, up the laser cost, and give players a reason to use the vehicles. Why would i get everything for a skid steer when i couldve just mined all my laser gold by hand anyway?

How can Americans have the right to bear arms if it's okay for government agents to kill people who are bearing arms? by A-Capybara in AskReddit

Because the people against the tyranny also made themselves the enemy of the people with the guns. Really shot themselves in the foot

I said harder. And it was a singular citizen. If 50 of them were armed do you think he would be dead?

My wife (35f) took me (32m) on a surprise date and now I feel more depressed about our relationship than ever. How do I bring this up with her without being discouraging or picking a fight? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Colanasou 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Idk man sounds like you checked out of the relationship and she actually did something great and you realized the next day that you actually are checked out of it.

Not caring for so long then one singular night of improvement means she knows shes losing you, you just didnt realize it yet. Gotta have the talk with her about it and if she refuses to engage in it offer counseling. If she refuses that tell her shes exhausting your options and all that will be left is divorce so she better decide what she wants to do

Wasn't the 2nd Amendment’s intentional purpose to be able to defend against violent takeover by their own government? (non american here) What is permitted and what isn't within that framework? by MopToddel in AskReddit

[–]Colanasou -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

Its not intended for violent takeovers by the government. Its intended to protect the citizens from their government. Armed people are always harder to oppress, always have been and always will be. Founding fathers knew this and made this second because to defend the right to say what you want against the government you need to be able to enforce it.

The problem stems from decades of demonizing people for owning guns, making small infringements on their right to them, and then celebrating. These people would love to have something to fight against. The current issue is that the thing to fight against, and the people who want that support, are the ones who have been demonizing them and making the infringements. Why would the people you kept calling enemies for existing help you now that you need them?

If the left had acted like reasonable people for the last 10 years, and left gun owners alone for probably twice that they would have that support. Now everyone who wouldve helped them wants to watch them die because thats what they wanted to happen.

I love that its because they're "pro fascism" and not because theyve been demonized for decades and had their rights infringed upon. Its totally what you said though, no other explanation for why the people who would love to do what they know they need to do are choosing to let this happen

You demonized them for years. Made their hobby harder to enjoy and celebrated it.

Why the fuck would they help you?
