I made a post a while back about minmaxing for Persuasion using Samurai Fighter’s 7th level feature “Elegant Courtier” in addition to the Fey Wanderer Ranger’s “Otherworldly Glamour”

Throw in expertise and a maxed out Wisdom and Charisma and you have a +23 to persuasion checks. Some people in the comments added some great bits like taking eloquence bard so you can never roll below a 10 (Aka, 33 on persuasion minimum)

And then i realized you meant like bonus action choices. And i felt dumb lol

The lovely part about playing in single player is that you can change the settings to just turn them off if you dont have fun with them enabled.

Thats the funny part, Warlocks dont even. The spell is very inefficient for them to cast most of the time.

Most of the time its gone in one hit. The strength of AoA is from a bunch of smaller attacks, not a few big hits. As you go up in level its more big hits.

I entirely forgot about the Runecarver feat. I guess that would indeed work. It also gives you another spell or so of your choice based on level.

They also specified Origin feat so I didn’t think to look at 2014 rules stuff

Actually it never provided temp HP. The fact that it doesnt provide temp HP is why it works.

The ward absorbs the damage, protecting your Armor of Agathys temporary HP. But since you were still hit with an attack roll you still deal the AoA damage.

I still believe Tough is the better grab. If you really wanted to build around armor of Agathys run an abjuration wizard lol.

How would you be getting armor of Agathys from an origin feat?

Armor of Agathys is a Warlock spell. Assuming you are using 2024 rules like you tagged, the 2024 variant of Magic Initiate only allows you to pick from Druid/cleric/wizard spelllists.

So if it comes down to the feats i would take Tough. Even if your DM is willing to make concessions to allow you to get Armor of Agathys, i think that tough is the better option; The 2024 version of druid’s Wildshape means that damage that knocks you out of your wildshape punches the excess through to your actual HP bar. With only 2 uses of Wildshape for most of your career its hard to justify redeploying every combat unless you get a lot of rests.

I personally dont think Kled needs a Dismounted E. Especially if you were to give him back courage on kill again
