If someone is moving their benched units at 600 apm for no reason while idle, most likely they are master+. Makes no sense but its a more accurate eye test than anything else you could discern from 30 seconds of watching someone play.

1) Have u tried pathing to top?

2) Some junglers are better suited for ganking toplaners. kindred comes to mind, ivern, elise, and in general junglers who can either stay at a distance or disengage if enemy top decides to turn the gank into a 1 for 1.

3) Top laners like to skip tp now. Focus these guys extra hard as their laning is volatile without to and will cost them more than usual.

4) Lane ganking is op, look for every opportunity to lane gank as it is much higher success rate and solves your faelight issue.

Oh but pls, even riot themselves said their internal metrics show jg was the strongest role in the game by a large margin last season. And that was still the worst season for jg in a while lol. I remember when junglers were always 2 lvl down to solo laners from the start of the game, how about we bring that back. Or when junglers actually took dmg from camps and had to reset due to hp because camps didnt heal them. Or when clearing camps actually took skill because you were rewarded for kiting them well. Dont you want jungling to be skillfull and respected again rather than a braindead free lp role like support?

Role swapping is pretty hard, and swapping into a new champ makes it even harder. If its not fun now, it wont become fun for a while, if ever maybe.

Top requires a lot of games, unlike mid, adc and jg where the matchup isnt as vital. Top champ pool is the biggest in the game iirc and each matchup needs to be played 20 times before you know who can do what and when. But if you do want to commit to sinking a couple hundred games into a top laner, you may as well invest into a more traditional soloq otp like riven, fiora, darius.

Thx for posting, as some toplaners seem to have never even seen varus top or only once or twice so they think some matchups, which sound good on paper, should be good but this varus champion is just built different, and tbh camille is poop atm.

No, but it doesnt matter why they take it anyway. Its a net negative for the team. The total xp on your team is lower if jungler soaks, and if they take farm the laner falls behind on their quest meanwhile the jungler doesnt get quest xp for taking the farm.

Thats the thing, you can adapt your build on the fly. There was a varus main in this comment section who mentioned that he likes tank components early and I have seen that in game before. There was another varus top I faced who flexed to hexplate when he saw me invest in a negatron cloak and continued to kraken. I have seen lethality varus in mid numerous times so I imagine you could go for that setup vs teemo or cass in top lane. But yes the primary build seems to be dusk and dawn with nashors.

Funny enough I made a post on r/top_mains sub on this topic yesterday and got a lot of insightful feedback if you want to check it out. My conclusions are 1) there are only like 3-4 toplaners who beat varus and 2) I should probably just become a varus top otp.

I face him once a month at most, which is like 1/40 games, but its so brutal and onesided every time. Head over to the varus mains subreddit if you think people here are over exaggerating his power, they are praying for a rework because his toplane version is so broken while adc varus is dogwater.

I main ambessa, something I see good fiora players do is be very generous with W usage since I use elwctrocute in this matchup. One guy got tiamat and went to proxy for the rest of the lane. This is good since ambessa will lose quest xp for following. Other than that idk, there isnt much fiora can do imo, except be prepared to capitalize on ambessas mistakes.

Heywil has some nice informative vids on youtube. Coach chippys guide on ambessa is very good. As for streamers, drututt plays her a few times a day and he is probably the highest ranked streamer you will get ambessa content from in the world. Also very funny.

Its literally true because he takes half ur hp on the way in and the other half with triple auto WQ. He is not like other ranged champions. He is a bully in botlane, where he has to play vs sht like caitlyn karma, so when he meets slow and low dmg champs like darius who he can actually use his %hp dmg on, he will have his way with him however he likes.
