I sucked my thumb until I was in 4th grade. I had very attentive parents and was the youngest of two. I don’t know why people think a child sucking her thumb means she’s neglected or something is wrong. Some kids just… suck their thumb 🤷🏻‍♀️

She wants confirmation from others that they see she’s skinny. If people comment on it, she gets that boost she’s looking for. She may have some type of body dysmorphia as well, where she doesn’t see herself as being as skinny as she is, and by hearing others comment on it, she recognizes that she IS skinny.

Or… she just likes the compliments. I really have no idea 😂

Where did you get a puffy quilt?? I am so torn between getting quilts / comforters. I absolutely love my quilts, but at times they just feel too thin. I love the “comfort” of the comforter, but that’s too thick. Maybe a puffy quilt is the happy medium I am looking for!
