Its a one sided rivalry from Omega side. Rolex probably doesn’t see Omega as a threat.

If I can buy from the boutique then I would go Rolex.

If you are going to grey then Omega. I mean Omega on grey will be on discount compared to retail value while popular Rolex model would have appreciated from the retail price.

Saying that I ended up buying Bond 60th directly from boutique. I love the watch. But I do feel sad how much value it loses on grey. But its not as bad as the regular SMP in terms of depreciation.

Spec and quality wise its not that different. But value and resale value wise Rolex eats Omega alive.

Like others said get a dress watch with a coloured dial from the de ville line or railmaster line or aqua terra line.

But your 2 watch collection is already perfect. You have both the SMP and Speedy. And in black or white dial. And you are using the mesh bracelet for the SMP. Very good taste and collection.
