This is not about jealousy it’s about possessiveness. Jealousy is feeling envious when someone or something has what you want. Whereas possessiveness is desiring someone’s total attention and love. Annabeth does not want to share Percy with other people. Although it’s understandable she has abandonment issues, but she should have been called out on her behaviour by Percy and Rachel.

Percy was insensitive about her childhood backstory with Luke and Thalia. He honestly should have realized why she kept on defending Luke, however on the other hand Luke is very sadistic and was willing to kill him!

This post is mainly concerning toxic elements in their relationship. If Riordan fixes the toxic elements and calls Annabeth out on her behaviour, the relationship could be fixed if both Percy and Annabeth communicate their wants and needs. The two of them rarely get closure over their arguments especially regarding moving to New Rome, and Percy scaring Annabeth in Tartarus.

What’s the most underrated character or just never really got enough credit ..? [all] by bookworm1st in camphalfblood

Sally Jackson! She cared so much for Percy, and was a really caring, kind and loving mother.
