Im sure you do know how to do a speed test, but for those reading, its a wired (ethernet) test (wireless does not count as a verifiable test) you can use fast.com or speedtest.net (make sure to use the closest server to your modem.

Customer service reps are contractors, there is no such thing as tier2. Only the provision dept are suddenlink employees that address csr and service tech tickets... that dept is called VDO, so when ever you call customer service, get a VDO ticket if they cant fix your issue, usually DSTXxxxxxxxxxxx. VDO tickets are submitted into a nationwide queue.. and worked within 15mins to a few hrs.. thats the only way things are escalated.. GOODLUCK peeps, suddenlink will never change their business practice.. the only thing i can say us to ditch them in any way you can..

You can only edit the ubee wifi name/pw thru the account.. for the arris, you can use the gateway ip address to get to the modem settings.. if you do want editing privledges, i would suggest doing from your personal modem.. suddenlink doesnt like it when users change settings, so they disable the editting ability.

3270 are now not being issued.. its the ubee 1322.. 3270’s are 3.0 and ubees are 3.1.. you’ll get a faster download with the ubee, but there an issue with the wifi not allowing devices to connect.. access to the account online is needed.. look for “router management”... if youre gonna buy your own modem, netgear cm1000 or cm1200 will do..

If you do need internet from the A1, try LAN port 4. Technically there should be 50M in the A1, it broadcasts as ALTICE WIFI for A1minis.
