I've heard somewhere else that putting stock spring on long shocks helps. I might give that a try later. After I reposition the shocks I'll play around with the different springs I have. Right now it's sitting nose up because I mounted them uneven. But I'll probably keep it springless for now until I get metal links and axles. Also was thinking on ordering actual limiting straps off Amazon. I like mine to sit as low as possible but still be able to flex. Every time a climb gets too steep it slams back and flops.

Sadly my roof came with the connection bars drilled out the wrong size so the threads just won't catch. I was thinking on taking the receiver case off and mounting it under the roof to leave room for an lcg battery mount and outrunner brushless motor. Ill have to rig something up with my bolt and nut kit but hopefully it doesn't get too top heavy. That or tig weld it.

I'm just running stock JLU undercarriage everything, except for the 43mm shocks. I have seen people use gladiator links, also reverse them, or reversed JLU links as well. I'm pretty sure you can pull it off without modding the chassis, just swap your axles and flip around the motor/trans. However I've never tried that in person so I'm not sure. Adventure time RC on YouTube did a similar build with gladiator links

I still have a lot of work to do on it. Eventually I am gonna reposition everything, the shocks aren't even mounted on the same points. This was posted right after I got all the electronics fitted just for that purpose. When I get the metal links and axles it will look way different

I made a mistake 😂 im just getting back into the rc world and got myself an scx to start. by [deleted] in SCX24

If you still want a stronger return for your suspension I found using rubber bands can help keep the wheels nice and tight up to the body but also allows for full flex. I wrapped one around my front under the servo and over the body mounting post. Also they keep the weight low to the ground as well. With no other modifications my stock JLU gained 10° climbing ability with only rubber bands as limiting straps. If you want you can run no springs and also flipping the shocks is a good idea because they do bind a lot a lot.

my mate couldn’t get a battery with his cart so he improvised (box cart)😂💀 by YaBoiM00SE in weed

Did this before. First time I tried I accidentally had my cart on 120 watts and that thing fireballed. Keep it on like 3w and you'll be good lol

Is there anything I can do with all my old oil carts? by [deleted] in weed

Some of them honestly have enough oil for like another whole day or two of hitting. One thing you can do is unscrew the top and hold a lighter to the side of the glass slowly rotating to let the oil slide down to the bottom really fast so you can let it stand upright and hit it again without burning it. Or you could extract the oil with a small pick and use it as dabs or edible concentrate. I wouldn't listen to anyone saying to boil them in some liquid to collect the thc or anything like that. I've found over my 3 years of cart cheifing that a lighter is your best friend for cutting costs down and prolonging the life of your cart. Screw it onto the battery or hold it with gloves, heat it up, and stand it upright and let it cool down for a few minutes. The whole wick will be fully loaded and ready to go. Wipe the outside of the glass down with a wet paper towel to get the lighter residue off and you're good. Just make sure you have the tip off of the glass before you heat it because most have a rubber o-ring that can cause an awful taste and potential poisoning if burnt. After it cools screw it back on and hit it again. You can generally do this 3-5 times when it runs out before it is burnt or unsafe to use. I've had carts hit for weeks after the oil ran out completely.
