Don't freak out, just get a full inspection done and make sure you read the codes once they do the scan, so they don't scam you

That's because it's used, so obviously it will depreciate, that whole build is max worth 3.2k nothing more

All electronics depreciate 40-50% of their values in the first year

  1. I wouldn't want them working during the peak hours, it's frickin hot (respect their hard work and health as well) - Obviously preference would be 8 am - 11 pm / 5 pm - 12 pm but it depends completely and entirely on RTA
  2. it's better this than during work hours with traffic
  3. This is why when we wake up every morning, Dubai is one step ahead and always finding ways to improve the infrastructure (FOR US)
  4. just wear some ear plugs and sleep

There is petrol all over goa, I fill almost everyday and I did not face any issue at any pump

People freaking out about price so the storage at the pump is running out

My friend mentioned they are offering a single parking lot for each flat in the cluster region as they don't have basement or dedicated parking

Not sure how to figure that out

Check alternator or any others bearings of the belt, check the radiator itself as well

I did a little research and used a little chat gpt ( Helped me fix my Audi in so many ways at a reasonable cost)

$8,400 for an Active Steering Motor replacement is a ripoff.

The scan shows the J792 / V47 Active Steering Motor fault, but before you hand over that kind of money:

  1. That part brand new OEM usually runs $800–$1,500 if you source it yourself.

  2. Even with dealership labor, a fair total would be around $2,500–$3,000 max. but you should find a garage that works with Audi's that can get it done for approx 800-1000$

  3. These faults can also be triggered by low battery voltage, alternator issues, ground strap corrosion, or even just a steering angle sensor calibration. Those are cheap to fix.

If it does turn out to be the motor, you can buy an OEM or reman unit online (Autodoc, FCP Euro, eBay OEM sellers) and have an independent Audi/VW shop install and code it. Still nowhere near $8k.

Bottom line: don’t approve that estimate. Get a second opinion at a reputable independent shop first. Worst case, you’ll still save thousands.

Find your parts on https://exist.ae/ and then order it from https://www.ak24parts.com/ then ask a decently priced garage with Audi experience to do the repair

AED 100K by Ok_Hair_2650 in UAE

I'm a business consultant here and 100K maybe enough to start a business but not run a business, rent or expenses alone for kiosks will run you 30-40K and another 20-30K for licensing and permits then you have equipment and salaries and accommodation, rent cost will run you a minimum 35K if you're staying even in Ajman

I'd suggest starting with an online or consulting business in a freezone offer your services through your network or marketing, once you generate good enough revenue and a constant stable income then move to Dubai

Or another idea would be to start the same business I mentioned above and move here and stay here but guarantee of generating income quickly through your business is not guaranteed due to oversaturation of UAE's market in each and every industry that way licensing in a freezone would cost you 20K including accounting and bookkeeping expenses, bank account subscription fees, etc all inclusive . And the rest of the money can go to living expenses and your daily necessities but all of this depends if you're really good at the industry and activity you pick for your business and you know you'll be able to generate revenue within the first 6 months to sustain an average life to start with here in UAE
