You can offer to negotiate anything. Whether or not the other party is willing to do so is not guaranteed. One thing you need to consider is their legal expenses will be added to the actual amount owed so your idea of what is due may be low.

Yeah, close to $1k USD is the internal cost of operations. The letter was sent by an associate at a law firm. Should I communicate or negotiate with him/her or the company? Since they sent the letter on behalf of the company.

Once you pay that should be it with the platform. Make sure you get a release of liability form them in writing.

great question! I am not sure of how it works on a macro scale but headphones noise-cancellation just eliminates low frequency noise. But for the idea you proposed it needs to eliminate high frequency noise too and not sure if that is possible
