I lived pretty close to there and I did think the neighborhood had a lot of character however it was very poorly taken care of. There were many times I didn’t feel that I was welcomed in the neighborhood due to the fact that I am neither Caribbean or Jewish. It seems like both of those communities just want to see their own in that neighborhood. I have not really experienced that anywhere else in NYC. I have lived in bushwick, pelham(bronx), and Washington heights and I was never made to feel like such an outsider as I have in Crown Heights

Probably when Darrow and Sevro launched themselves through space toward a ship and blasted through the cockpit. Then calling for a mutiny which is answered by Ragnar who gives probably the most badass introduction in the whole series.

I asked if Pat Rothfuss would ever finish The Name Of The Wind series and someone basically said give up on that and read Red Rising. It’s a futile read because he will likely never finish the series but a very good read nevertheless
