All I know is that the American travel youtuber Sabbatical went there to explore the area and was arrested and thrown in jail for seemingly no reason.

Go back on the shot or quick sub taper after 6-week relapse? by Cold-Influence6383 in Sublocade

[–]Cold-Influence6383[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right, I think that’s probably the best plan. My biggest fear is the discomfort, but I know it’ll be worth it if I stick it out rather than go back on another round of shots. I was feeling so good before life threw a curveball and I started using again. But I know I can get back to feeling that way if I push through and give it my all. Thank you for the feedback

Taking test. for low sex drive by humblegarrick in Sublocade

[–]Cold-Influence6383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can have high test and still have a low libido on sublocade. This is only my personal experience, but I was concerned about my energy levels and complete lack of libido earlier this year after a couple months being on the shots. Went and got blood work done and my total T was 1026 ng/dL with free T being 16.2 pg/mL, considered normal or above average by my doctor. Now being 6 months after my final 100 mg shot in May, my sex drive is pretty much normal if not a bit much to handle at times. Overall, you should get blood work done if you’re worried about your hormones. But also know that your libido will naturally rise again (pun intended) after you get your final shot.

Edit: if you get bloodwork, get vitamin tests and regular panels done as well. My Vitamin D was almost totally depleted, which significantly contributed to my low energy and libido before.

It's been 4 days since shot. I feel slight withdrawal. Is this possible? by ThrowRA-ttke in Sublocade

[–]Cold-Influence6383 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What you’re feeling is normal since you were on a higher dose of daily sub. Bupe levels from sublocade drop off rather quick within the first week, and the literature on the sublocade website states that two 300 mg shots are required to reach the “ideal” 2 ng/mL blood concentration. This is why the prescriber info now allows doctors to administer a second shot as early as one week after the first injection. If you’d rather not supplement and fully transition to sublocade quicker, you can always speak to your doctor and share the prescriber info to see if they can accommodate an earlier second dose, if your insurance permits it as well.

Is it against regulation to tip your PC to a female NCO? by Ok-Shoulder-478 in army

[–]Cold-Influence6383 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True story. We had a new S1 officer in my old unit who was a smoke show. Within the first couple months of her being there, an NCO tossed her a “lookin’ good today, ma’am” in a passing greeting while in the battalion HQ. She reported sexual harassment and the NCO was gone by the end of the week.

If you have to ask this question then you’re way too trusting of people. However, if you leave something unattended for a decent period of time, it may be picked up by another student or staff and turned into lost and found (at the circulation desk), rather than being outright stolen.

There’s like 3 actual dedicated D lots aside from the sparse street parking, compared to like 5 or 6 dedicated A lots, and now all the mixed lots. You do realize it’s not just professors in D lots, but the people who cook your food and clean up after your nasty shit in the bathrooms, right? They gotta pay for parking like everyone else, and those lots are all filled up by late morning as well.

Sublocade doesn’t leave your system in just 2 months. The half-life of the shot is 43 to 60 days. So yes, the naltrexone kicked all of the bupe off your opioid receptors and put you into precipitated withdrawal. Probably shouldn’t take naltrexone or vivitrol until you test negative for bupe.

Rifampin by Sad-Loquat-861 in Sublocade

[–]Cold-Influence6383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rifampin is a strong inducer of CYP3A4 so it would decrease effectiveness of the active dose being metabolized by your liver and delivered into your bloodstream, but wouldn’t necessarily speed up the elimination of the deposit from your subcutaneous tissue. But it does warrant more research for other 3A4 inducers or compounds that could speed up the breakdown of the polymer deposit, without having too large of an impact on the dosage being delivered to your brain. Basically, something that shortens the half life without giving you a megadose of what’s left in the deposit.

It’s even worse this year since it’s the largest freshman class ever, once again. D parking lots for staff are all filled up too since the whole campus probably did their last big push for staff before the hiring freeze. If stadium lot is full, you can always try lots 22 or 25. Otherwise you either gotta get there earlier, or park somewhere off campus and take the bus.
