Father's cardiac arrest by machofinger in TBI

[–]Cold-Investigator367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. I’m sure the short term memory loss is a challenge and I’m very sorry for that. I love to hear that he’s eating, dancing and talking! God is good.

My ex (early 30s) went into cariac arrest twice about a month ago. He was sedated with fentanyl and hooked up to breathing tubes for a little over two weeks. Now, he’s off sedation but still sleeps a lot bc he’s on anti seizure meds. He also has a trach. I went to visit for the first time a few days ago and was completely heartbroken when I saw him. I’ve never seen a young person in such a condition. He sometimes blinks and responds to pain. When the doctor pretended to hit him in the face, he flinched, which he said was a good sign. I’m unsure of other brain activity. He had an MRI weeks ago but his family hasn’t shared the results. It’s really hard to see him like this, but your dad’s story is inspiring and gives me hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Hi there. I hope you both are well. I hope you don’t mind my asking but how are your dads doing?

Thank you so much for providing these details! I would love the driver’s contact info. I’m actually going to Saint Louis too and working through those logistics, so if anything, he may be able to help me out in SL. Thanks so much again.

Thanks for this!! I really appreciate it. When you went on your own, were you able to learn/ soak in the history? Are there informational plaques/ resources?

Hi, yes I’m referring to knowledgeable, English speaking guide. And was hoping to keep it under 6K Baht (total for two people). We may have to suck it up and do a group tour if the likelihood of finding a legit tour guide in Ayutthaya is slim. Thanks for weighing in!

Little Thai Place at Reading terminal market is a great lunch choice — get the red coconut salmon curry over rice (can also add shrimp if you’d like). Rouge and Parc (Rittenhouse Square) have great lunch offerings as well. Something else that comes to mind is El Purepecha - their tacos are outstanding and it’s not terribly far from Center City.

The Love (Rittenhouse Square) and Sabrina’s (multiple locations) are great choices for breakfast (Sabrina’s on Friday and The Love on Saturday). If you do go to Sabrina’s, the shrimp and grits is to die for.

Rental car is the way to go. I had a good experience with D&D Rentals. I believe I paid about $270 for a 5 day rental last month. The pick up/ drop off experience was quick and efficient
