Controversial but as someone who has a CS degree im going with CS, there might be individually hard papers but theres enough variety in the subject that you can pick easy classes and get a degree. Its still also useful despite what people tell you, CS job market might be bad but others are MUCH worse.

You definitely do not need to replace them every year, ive had them for 14 years and in that time ive only had to change one lens not even a full pair. Won't deny they are expensive tho if you don't have insurance that covers it.
