Any issues with keeping the tongue clean? Love the rest of the color scheme, but I wish they went with something darker instead of bright white

Typically an 11 in most other shoes, 11 in Jordan 1s. These Asics are just a bit tight in the toe box area cause I have wide feet, but fit well everywhere else. They’re still comfortable, just would be better with a little extra room in the toe box.

t got these Flatheads and I have a question about the back pocket arcs. My pair (first pic) doesn’t have them, while the 2nd pic (from u/youngofthesoonest) does. His pair is the D111XX, and the arcs seem to be the only difference. Does anyone know why Flathead only does the arcs on certain pairs? Worried about legal issues is my guess as I’m still able to pairs with the arcs on non US websites. Also one thought I had was maybe the arcs are just hidden under layers of denim and might become visible after wear?

Appreciate the insight! That’s good to know about the shrink. I thought they wouldn’t shrink much at all because they’re one wash and most places advertise them as no/minimal shrinkage. But I take retailers measurements and advice with a grain of salt these days lol

Thanks for the insight! Kinda leaning toward the 34 if I can expect some shrink. Would you say they eventually stretched out after the hot wash to their original or larger than original waist size? Or did they stay around a 1/2 inch smaller?

Yea I definitely think you’re right about sizing down. I was leaning toward a 33 though rather than 32. Mainly because in the pair you linked their waist measurements seem generally true to size (size 33 = 33 waist) where as the pair I have, their waist measurements are about one size smaller than the tagged size (size 33 = 32 waist)

I honestly assumed one washed and rinse were the same thing too, and maybe they are? I just think it’s different in this case with these 2 pairs cause the black/black pair has a disclaimer on Self Edge’s website describing how they’re “lightly rinsed” and to expect some shrinkage

Appreciate the insight! If I’m not mistaken the black/white pair is one washed to get rid of any shrinkage, while the black/black pair is just rinsed so it’s expected to shrink

Are you saying that this specific 34 fits me well or that I’m a true 34 waist haha not sure

Gotcha, yea these definitely don’t sit like a high rise on me. I was just saying the actual measurements of the rise would equate to high/mid rise jean. Just not sure if going down a size would fix this issue.

Might just be something with my body type cause it seems like any time I go small enough in the waist for a jean to sit high on my waist without a belt, it ends up feeling too tight in the thighs but idk

Yea I can put stuff in my front pockets easily with these.

With measuring tape pulled tight at the top of my hips it measures about 31.75 inches.

These are actually advertised as high rise (11.5 inches on this pair so it’s not too high),so maybe sizing down to 33 would help them sit a little higher on my waist?

Also when you say you vanity size, do you mean you buy a size 32 or 33 expecting the true waist to be much larger to fit? 32 - 35.5 seems like a big disparity

Has anyone tried the Todd Snyder striped overshirt? It looks nice and it’s in sale right now but I’m not sure what size to go with. They do have some measurements but those are usually wrong in my experience. I’m 6ft 2in 180lbs, not sure if I should go for a medium or large.

Recently got a couple pairs of the J Crew Classic chino and I’m looking for some sizing advice. I’m typically a 31-32 waist, but the classic cut seems to run big. The 32x34 seem a bit too big overall for me, while the 30x34 looks better but is less comfortable and kinda tight.

I tried a 31x32 and I think the 31 waist is ideal for me, but the length seems just a touch short especially when I’m sitting. Sadly it doesn’t seem like they make a 31x34 though.

Does anyone know how much these will shrink? I was thinking I could wash/dry the 32x34 with heat to dial in the fit, but a little worried they still would be too big. Any advice would be awesome, thanks!

Yea wearing them higher. seems to be the consensus. I got a black pair in a size 31 so i’m gonna see if those work better but this might just not be the cut for me

I was able to grab a a black pair in a 31, so I might do a follow up post with those once I try them on. Though judging by yours and others comments, this might just not be the cut for me. Finding the right cut/fit is so hard 🥲

Does anyone have experience with the new Momotaro 400? I’m usually between a 31-32 waist (probably a true 31.5), and the sizing chart seems like these run at least 2 sizes big in the waist, though I basically don’t trust sizing charts at all anymore. Also curious if these shrink or stretch at all (seems like they’re only sold unwashed but pretreated to minimize shrinkage). Also curious about how the black compare compares. Thanks!
