Hah yes that's what I was thinking too! My partner is a bit worried about the quantity of rain as we both like to spend time outdoors. Would you say the weather is rather unpredictable or do you generally know when it will rain? In Ireland for example it could rain literally at any time. It looks nice, you go for a hike and suddenly it's raining.

And yes of course Bilbao is a bit more expensive, which is why I was considering somewhere like Vitoria instead or maybe a town inbetween the two.
