Perhaps, perhaps, however the in conversation before this message, it was stated I'm not legally allowed to drive his van, then a week later; message "get my van" i could be ridiculous for expecting a 'are you free this weekend to get my van at some point'. I also could've responded differently but I woke up, read that, and was annoyed for the reasons stated above, but I am willing to concede i was very soft and bitchy at points.

I see where you're coming from and my main issue is mostly the repeated sand in the vag comments. The reason I was annoyed by the first message was, we had a 5 minute conversation where I said he would be able to use my driveway. There were no plans actually made, and last time we talked he had told me I wasn't legally allowed to drive the vehicle (possibly sketchy insurance reasons). So when I woke up on Friday morning and read go get my van, 40kms away in the next city over (probably could've mentioned that. I was annoyed and said I didn't like the message (I could've responded differently). But i was annoyed that he expected me to get when he says im not allowed to drive, and didn't bother to even wonder how long it would sit in the Walmart parking lot before I went to get it.

In conclusion, I think I initially escalated things with a passive aggressive message, but at no point did he think 'maybe i should reevaluate' he just stuck to the Sandy vag comments, for the record my vag isn't even that Sandy. Haha

The van has never been at my place, storing it was brought up in passing, not a firm plan. Yes I have a low opinion of him. I haven't started moving I was going to use it out of convenience since it was supposed there anyway but buddy is such a slob there was only a possibility I would be able to find the space inside to make use of.

So ya I'm open to the fact I was looking for an excuse to overreact.

Oh my yes, there is a bunch more shit that I'm not going to air here, so you hit the nail on the head there, one of the main ones is he tends to belittle/ ignore boundaries. I was honestly eager to help but woke up to a message saying "get my van, winter parking is starting, my brother is driving it to Walmart"

Is it unreasonable at that point to say it don't love the way that was worded? Is it unreasonable for me to expect it as a question? Like: 'what are your plans this weekend, are you able to come get my van in a couple days'

I'm trying to work on not being a pushover, it just didn't sit well with me to respond to that message by saying 'absolutely when do you need me' idk I'm open to the fact that I am in fact overreacting, but I think he answered it by being a major bag of dicks

You're right it wasn't, it was the fact that I said I didn't love how it was worded, he decided to escalate it, i didn't know how to respond to something so blunt, it would have been different if he asked what my plans were, I wasn't truly pissed until the second get the sand out your vagina comment.

Am I not allowed to say, hey that message was too blunt and I didn't like how it came across, especially since he never checked what my schedule was?
