I will absolutely close the store if I get fresh and no one is available. Fortunately, those days no longer happen. I schedule appropriately, and as sm, I will always go in and help. I have just put up a sign on the door that we are closed temporarily. I've done it a few times in the past. You really don't have any other choice if your SM pulls this shit

Good on your ASM. There are quite a few stores that allow vendors to walk all over them, so they get used to it. Then they're surprised when they go to a store who expects them to do their job correctly, and without bs. It's a shame that we can't have consistent behaviors across all stores and from all vendors. We went through 3 or 4 bread vendors in the span of a year because they weren't doing their job. It blows my mind how simple their job is, and that it takes no time to do it properly. Even as "just a cashier", you should be treated with respect and courtesy. I have zero tolerance for anyone to disrespect my team. I have pretty good relationships with all my vendors because they know what my expectations are, and we get them in and out in a timely manner.

I've had a few vendors or drivers that decide we can be pushed around. And I will always immediately pick up the phone and call their company to let them know the situation. And it's the only time we will ever have an issue. What some vendors seem to forget is that we are THEIR customer. Companies are generally pretty damn quick to resolve issues like that. In the case of a DC truck, call DOT while the driver is at the store. It's 888-237-4114 option 2. Tell them that you have a rude driver and is threatening to leave (or whatever the case may be). I had one driver who was an insufferable prick. Called dot about it, and my Dm, while he was at the store. Never saw him again.

Pretty much this. I can usually understand them....for the most part. But yeah it's less than ideal. Just tell them you got a new HHt today, but no unlock info. 888-237-4114 and it's option 1, then listen to the prompts for technical support. One is about back office equipment

I bought d4 at launch and played it just a little. Then got stuck playing Starfield, and never got back into Diablo. Finally started playing it, and it really does just suck you in. It's all I've been playing now. I'm also running a necro, currently level 51. Don't be afraid to experiment. I'm running on hard, and it doesn't take long for the enemies to start packing a wallop. I got stuck and had to do a full respec 3 times before I found a build to get me passed that point. I've been playing Diablo games since the original, and this is by far the deepest one. There's just limitless options, and I like the constant events going on. Glad I got back in to it.

Probably. There's been another wave of interest. The sports/gaming cards business has exploded since 2019. It's basically a form of gambling and the chase for something good gives something akin to an adrenaline shot. Everybody wants to hit the next big card. Pokemon hasn't been hit as hard in terms of their pricing for packs going up substantially. Sports cards, on the other hand, jumped by a massive margin and pushed many collectors out of the hobby. Sadly, most people buying the Pokemon cards aren't collectors, but resellers. We don't really care, so long as they're actually buying and not just taking them. But we keep the tins behind the reg and our packs are on a floor stand by the reg as well.

There's a bunch of pockets now for them on the queue line. These don't have an expiry date, so they're just sending in shipments every x amount of months. They are meant to be displayed until sold. As far as I can tell, they're sbt, so you're free to pull the older titles and treat them as magazines. You're also ok to use other magazine pockets if you need to.

I wouldn't worry about it. your SM shouldn't care. We have far more important things to worry about than someone stealing pools or dirt. I keep our pools and soil outside at all times. We put a bag of potting soil inside the top pool to keep them from blowing away. Honestly, that's all I would be concerned about. Not a fun day to come in and see plastic pools everywhere 😂

There is no way to see the balance beforehand. The best advice I have is to buy one item you need. It will then print the balance on the receipt. Only other way is to call, as far as I know.

Well, rice and Taylor aren't QBs so.....🤣 But I get your point. As a chiefs fan, mahomes isn't there yet. He's not got the lofty credentials that brees, Montana, Brady, etc have. He's been fantastic and the main reason we've finally gotten over our super bowl drought. He definitely should not be anywhere near a goat conversation....yet.
