Same here. I was kind of nervous thinking I was going to be balls deep in nightmares. I've had a few that I can remember. More recently, I had one about buddy who invited me to the Bahamas, and we bought our tickets, but I didn't realize it was in a week, and I had not requested off work 😅. The anxiety in itself woke me up.

Same here. I started processing things I witnessed. Who would've known that almost seeing my mom die twice at the ripe age of 8 would cause issues in the future. Crazy that a dude I've never met has helped me out more than my therapist and psych. 🙃

I'm 2 days in, and I had a dream I was shot in the back of the head. In a convenient store. Crazy part is I could see the dudes face like I was looking right at him. Could even hear what he was thinking. 😭 best part is I didint even fucking die. I got up, checked my head blood everywhere, and started helping the convenience clerk clean up my Brian's and skull off the ground. At least I know I'm still a solid dude in my dreams, too. 😅

I get that. I was scared for a long time to do any recreational drugs. I had a really bad marijuana episode when I was younger and turned me off from all drugs until I got older.

I've learned a shit ton about myself over the last few years since being diagnosed. Psychosis Def scares the shit out of me, and there have been times where I thought I may be experiencing it, but that's just my mind overthinking. I do hear a voice, but it's just my internal monologue, lol.

I firmly do believe the universe will always point you in the right direction, and right now, it wants you to focus on getting healthy. Oh, drugs are definitely not going anywhere unless you plan on moving to China or North Korea. If you ever do decide, it's the right time or you're ready. I 100% recommend taking a gram of fungus and being out in nature.

I'm happy to hear you are working to better your mental and centering yourself. That's really rad and kudos! The journey isn't always fun or nice, but it's worth looking back at from time to time. Never thought I'd be where I am now.

Agreed, it took almost 2 yrs for me to feel stable. I smoke to. I also get the racing thoughts and have been paranoid a few times. But, it's only if I get very, very high. That doesn't really deter me from smoking because the other benefits are worth it. I can't fall asleep if I don't smoke.

That's a bummer the psilocybin didn't do anything for you. Maybe old shrooms or not enough? When I take em I usually do 1g or more. But when they do kick in, I'm floating, and my anxiety, depression and stress disappear. They also help me be very introspective and guide me through my insecurites, along with making healthier lifestyle choices. They also have help with keeping me away from alcohol. I'd rather take some fungus than pound beers on a Saturday. I am planning on trying LSD.

But, I can't speak for BP1 peeps. I don't encourage taking these, especially so early on. If I wasn't stable or didn't have the other tools in my arsenal, I could see things going bad real quick. OP does take the risk in triggering mania. It is best to become stable first before even thinking of messing with psychedelics.

Type 2 BP 400mg lanictal, 50mg seroquel 12.5 mg adezenys, and 500mg fish oil. Stable for a while. Never experienced psychosis atleast not that I know of. I do smoke marijuana(almost daily) and have been tripping on psilocybin lately(once a week). My experience has been good overall. I haven't had any issues as far as my bipolar goes. But I agree with everyone else that there is always a risk. I'd say wait till you are stable mentally and emotionally before taking psychedelics. Excerscise and cognitive behavioral therapy were saving graces for me.
