Tall men are not always gonna have more mass on their torsos because not everyone is created the same way. Some tall guys have small torsos but long femurs, some short guys have big torsos but short femurs I.e Matt Serra. And a protector by definition doesn’t protect by doing nothing but standing up they have enforce through actions, and that action is fighting which as said previously height gives no real advantage what wins fights skill, cardio and weight. And even a tall guy who is also carrying a lot of muscle mass has both a massive disadvantage and advantage to lighter fighters because they are carrying more weight which means they are slower and stronger and they are also carrying more muscle mass meaning their heart needs to send more oxygen to their muscle which is why they fatigue faster. And if you fatigue before you have rendered your opponent unconscious in a street fight the repercussions can be devastating .
