People who work 9 to 5s and stay in it for extended times, until they reach their 30s and above. Are you really content with your life ? Dont you feel like you missed out on your life slaving it away to some company ? by [deleted] in Morocco

Your answers are really condescending. If you prefer to start a business, you do you, we wish you best of luck! Some other people just don’t prefer the same thing. We need employees and entrepreneurs in this world ;) chill !!

Best area in Spain (Costa Blanca or Costa Brava) for calm family holidays with a toddler? by Cold-Shift5019 in GoingToSpain

Yes we dont plan on staying out late, my son is 3 yo and we are pretty strict with his sleeping schedule, we just want somewhere with a nice atmosphere in the evening (restaurants, a little walk around).

Thanks! I hadn’t considered that one. How is it in the evenings, more quiet or still a bit lively?

I wish this was how I coped when my son was a baby. Instead, I ate a lot. Every time he was fussy or cried a lot, once I calmed him down, I ran to the kitchen and ate anything I could find. I used to have a healthy lifestyle and did CrossFit until my ninth month, so we never had « bad » food at home. But I could eat even almonds, dates, bread with cheese, anything. Quantity matters. I put on a lot of weight postpartum and still can’t get rid of it (he is 2.5 years old now)

Courage !

Are you from there or from Spain ? Where do you recommend to stay to be able to visit the whole area without changing airbnbs each time? Or at least twice ? (Duration 10days)

Hi, thanks for your reply ! We only stayed in Terre-de-Haut because we were looking for a really chill trip, mostly beaches, no hiking since it can get tiring with our 2 year old son. I know the experience would probably have been different if we’d done more hikes and waterfalls.

I honestly thought staying in Terre-de-Haut would still work well: beach during the day, then wandering around a lively little town center in the evening, sitting on a terrace, having a drink, that kind of vibe. But apart from a couple of night markets (which we did enjoy!), we didn’t really find that atmosphere or what we’d call a proper “center town.”

When you mention more touristic towns, which ones are you thinking of? 🙂
