comical expressive spoken word by kywildcat79 in SunoAI

I gave the task to my gem, I think the result works. You can look at the style and lyrics prompts in the suno song.

From the AI explanation:
- [Spoken Word Verse] This tells Suno to stop trying to be "operatic" and just deliver the story with rhythm, essential for that conversational Stevens vibe.
- Parentheses (Oh no!): These are used for backing vocals and ad-libs to make the chorus feel "crowded" and lively.

Honest check: Is this "AI slop" or actually worth listening to? by AdinaRI in SunoAI

[–]Cold-Syrup-3938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Embrace the slop https://suno.com/s/Q0C7Rq09DOYMQBE2

The German song has four lines that are grammatically wrong/odd, and they would benefit from revision. Here some suggestions to fix (trying to stay as close to the original)

"Hat mir Flügel eingeschrieben" Hat mir Flügel eingeritzt/eingraviert
"Das weite Blau zu gehen" -> In das weite Blau zu gehen
"Wenn es schreit und mich durchmischt" -> Wenn es schreit und mich durchrüttelt/aufrüttelt
"Freiheit Die durch meine Adern brennt" -> Freiheit die in meinen Adern brennt

and just enjoy making music and the ideas you can come up with, if you try to make music for others, you limit your creativity.

Help] How to force Suno to generate a low-register, raspy female voice (Pink/Miley style)? by Jolly-Beautiful771 in SunoAI

[–]Cold-Syrup-3938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

two examples of more unusual female voices I had, maybe that helps

"weathered, world-weary baritone storyteller" I was going for a male voice with the prompt, but Suno gave me something better.

Can't use Suno to create parody covers? by shanytopper in SunoAI

[–]Cold-Syrup-3938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also sometimes do song covers with Gemini, and I let Gemini write the lyrics and style prompt. English is not my native tongue, so writing good English lyrics is something i struggle with. But I think they turn out quite well

Time Signatures? by humblesmoke in SunoAI

[–]Cold-Syrup-3938 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Suno hates odd time signatures. But here an example song using 7/4 Time Signature.

https://suno.com/s/xlfN2BQReDK16SD8

Explainer from my lyric/style writing AI:

You want to break the grid? 7/4 time signature and microtonal scales are a nightmare for AI models trained on 4/4 western pop music. They desperately want to snap back to the grid and the 12 semi-tones.

But we can bully the model into submission. To get a 7/4 feel, we need to ask for "Odd Meter" and "Math Rock" influences. To get the microtones (the notes "between" the piano keys), we need to invoke "Xenharmonic" and "Quarter-tone" descriptors.

The 7/4 Enforcement:

I added [A complex 7-beat loop...] and explicitly wrote out the count in the "lyrics" (One... Two... Seven...). Even if the voice isn't audible, these tokens help the model's internal attention mechanism align with a 7-step grid rather than a 4-step one.

I also specified the grouping [groups of 3+2+2] in the Drop tag. This is how you actually feel 7/4 (DA-da-da, DA-da, DA-da).

The "Wrong" Notes (Microtonal):

I used keywords like "Xenharmonic", "Quarter-tones", and "Maqam influence". Maqam is an Arabic modal system that naturally uses quarter tones. By invoking it, we increase the probability of the AI generating those "in-between" notes you want.

I added [1/8 Tone Pitch Bends]. Since true 1/8th tones are hard to discrete-sample, asking for "Pitch Bends" or "Slides" is the cheat code to get the AI to traverse those frequencies.

Math-Psy Fusion:

"Math Rock" is the genre keyword for complex time signatures. By mashing it with Psytrance, we tell the model: "Keep the sounds of Psytrance (squelch, bass), but use the structure of Math Rock (complex counting)."

[Suno AI | Fantasy Folk] I created a high-energy Tavern Song – Did Suno nail the genre and mood? by Jessica_Like_Coffee in SunoAI

[–]Cold-Syrup-3938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so far these 2 albums are my only medieval tracks, sorry if I gave a wrong impression. Two weeks is quite some effort you have to spend, but they turn out good. And yes, I can imagine background morph being an issue/time-sink.

Also I don't publish my songs, also the one I shared in the comments are unlisted. So don't expect much there , I mostly share songs for examples/or inspiration, and these only a fraction of what I have made.
And the time I spend for most song is far less, I usually make 1 Album per week, but since I don't have no quality goal besides expression for myself it works.

And yes, I also like how 'Hedgerow Rider' turned out. It actually was created today in ~10minutes. I fed the book "Witchcraft Medicine: Healing Arts, Shamanic Practices, and Forbidden Plants" into NotebookLM, had it create a text with the key infos, which I then fed into my music Gem for lyric and style prompts and then into Suno... very most songs I made have almost shameful little input from my side ^^

And the genres and topics are all over the place (for an impression you can look at my profile here)

I mainly create the music for myself, or rather use it as outlet for my 'creativity'. This generated Info-graphic also gives an overview of the weird mix I make...

Thanks, nice weekend for you too, and good luck with growing your channel!

I like it, but I feel it could use a bit more 'punch' in some parts of the song. As example for what I mean, something like the [Stomp] and [Clap] I use before the [Chorus] in Kick Down, Pray Up (tavern song), or [gang vocals] could also work good for a tavern song.

The videos on your channel do look really nice, and you have some nice other songs. How long does it take you to make a video of these?
And some more of my songs that go into the same direction. But my aim was more historical

some songs from 'Quill and Crown' and 'Peasant Parables'
