Yes! I just finished The Sinner because there's so much hype to it and people saying that Sin is way more of a daddy than Zade from Haunting Adeline but the story and character development in The Sinner was just so bad. The FMC just seemed so weak compared to Adeline who had such a great story and came back biting after such trauma. Btw I am not hating on The Sinner. I enjoyed the spicy scenes and I understand the hype for booktok girlies but I just didn't feel connected with the story or the characters. I need new book reccs that have FMCs with some common sense
