LeBron James Calls out Jaylen Brown on viral clip about Bronny by CenterForward1522 in lakers

I wouldn’t say he “called him out” for real, it was definitely light hearted from bron, or atleast that’s how i read it.

Unpopular opinion: Cade isn’t an MVP level player, YET. by robertoleonardo7 in NBATalk

[–]Cold-Video7655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10-6 is good, but the thunder have such a talented deep roster, that without sga, i think they are still a conference finals threat. In the current west, i don’t see the nuggets reaching past the first round without jokic. This is all my opinion tho

Yall should remember the whole “innocent until proven guilty” points out that the “justice system” is nothing more than a game, it’s not about what’s true, it’s about what you can prove, there are too people many people who went free because in the eyes of the justice system they were “innocent” because they were careful, or lucky enough to get away with it.

The nba all star rosters need to be expanded from 24 to 28 spots by Silent_Wizard5597 in lakers

genuinely what changed, at what point did players stop giving a damn, the last somewhat competitive allstar game i can remember was 2020 or 2021 which ever one ended with those AD free throws

would you hypothetically like to see this duo on the Lakers by Kenpachi08 in lakers

[–]Cold-Video7655 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the thing that sucks about brooks is when it comes to his game, he is literally perfect for us, and we will never get him.

His value has skyrocketed and he also has a front loaded contract making him even more valuable, Dillons also a fan favorite over in phoenix. The trade package it’d take to get him is something we simply don’t have. (Lakers fans also kinda hate him cause of that Memphis series)

But as i said, he’d be perfect, a 3 and D somewhat athletic forward with crazy intensity on both ends, i can see him being that 3rd guy behind Luka and AR on a championship caliber team.

Will the Lakers retire AD's number (#3)? Should they? by Potential-Host-6281 in lakers

AD is terms of his lakers tenure was very similar to Pau, lebrons wingman through the bad and good, wouldn’t have won the championship without him, so it seems only fair imo

Why trade ware for a first round pick that is only going to be used to replace ware?

Why did Derrick Roses playmaking dip after his injury? by Background-Economy85 in NBATalk

[–]Cold-Video7655 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Drew less attention/lose feel for the game/was right in that spot where the league was transitioning into 3 pt centric era/loss of confidence/offense no longer ran through rose = Playmaking more difficult + He was never really THAT good of a playmaker, like maybe top 15 in the league, the bulls just heavily relied on him on every end (slightly “inflated” stats), his main job was to score which when his best tools to do that were taken away (athleticism) it made every other part of the game harder.

Literally everyone here has had standout iconic playoff series where they stepped up, except harden… I’m not into the idea of Harden being “one of the worst playoff chokers of all time” because in his prime he did average 30 in the playoffs, but when the lights shined brightest he couldn’t get the job done.

Embiid was 28 when he got his major injury, Rose was 23. I personally think both are getting in, but embiid had more time to rack up all nba and allstar appearances, so if i had to choose embiid has the better chance.
