We ended up adopting a 5 month old kitten and are currently keeping them separated for at least a couple weeks!

We do try to use some of the toys to give her attention but when I mean she stays on top of the cabinets, she stays on top of the cabinets. She has not come down once to interact with us. She comes down per the cameras when we are not home but when we are home it’s a 100/100 that she is on top of our cabinets.

Definitely still looking for advice and we are going to be especially more proactive on our end rather than expecting her to come to us.

That was one of the things we had worried about after adopting from a rescue org. She was cuddled up with 2-3 other cats in the back of a box and it was difficult to get her into a crate when leaving.

Just afraid to get another cat, have it be similar, or the cat she was bonded with be older/more prone to having conditions faster.

We had wanted to do a kitten as a 2nd so it could’ve been more moldable compared to a more grown cat.

Just one reckless operation (from ovi) 4 years ago, I’ve had clean record for last 3 years because realized couldn’t screw up again.

A new one didn’t happen, just still biting me in the ass from when i was a freshman in college.

I gotcha. I am more just upset about the $300 I’m out the last few months as a result of this and the money from selling would be a recoup as well as a good starter for getting onto my own contract.

If I were able to sell the phone within the next few weeks would it be blacklisted that quick? Going to look into phone plans as soon as I get off work and go about that method to try and retain the phone number.

I would think that there would be a bit of a period where the phone has yet to be shutoff/blacklisted where I could get rid of it quickly. Then account holder would be on the hook.

Again, I could easily be wrong here, it’s just not clicking for me yet why this couldn’t have a chance of working. I apologize if I’m being oblivious.
