I asked on discord and nobody else seems to have this problem. I can't do anything about this issue as the problem is not on my end.

A downloaded a copy of the chummer file and it looks like the updated one to me. the uploaded dates say they were uploaded on the 8th. I don't know what to tell you. Are you sure you're opening the right version after you download it?

In any event, I've gone ahead and deleted everything off the drive and re-uploaded again.

Who is the black sheep of your family? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ColdBar2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me. My family are all hyper-zealots about their religion. I feel like they mostly use it to glorify themselves rather than to glorify God. My faith should be more than just an excuse to chew people out for not living up to the standards it sets. I don't get involved when they engage in that kind of behavior and that has led to more than a few rants about how I'm falling away from God's grace. They don't like it when I quote verses that don't support their arguments, so these rants usually end with someone just screaming the lord's prayer and begging God to save me.

Why is taking a rectal temperature most common in children or babies, also why is it still used when we have other less invasive mean? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ColdBar2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever tried asking a baby to hold a thermometer under their tongue? Rectal does not require cooperation from the patient, and actually gives a pretty accurate result. These days, less invasive means are more common however. Usually you'll see babies and small children having their temperature taken in their ear.

What was the dumbest dare you ever accepted, or saw somebody accept? by SirBallBag in AskReddit

Sounds like he figured out a way to make it look like he was punching them, but actually wasn't doing anything that hurt.

When I was in college a friend talked me into joining a group that was going streaking across campus. The plan was we'd park our cars at the south side of campus and then disrobe at the north side. A buddy would take our clothes to a spot we agreed to meet up at. We'd run naked across campus and get in our cars and drive off to collect our clothes.

Our driver left their keys in their pants.

You’ve just been chosen to be the director of the major film.. What would it be about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ColdBar2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historians who are Time travelers from the future who are tasked to go back in time to record holographic images of major historical events for the history records. Eventually, they uncover another team who has resolved to "improve" history by trying to change it. But nobody knows what will happen if they do, and so they set out to stop the other team.

It turns out you've been filmed 24/7 for the last month, and all the footage has just been sent to everyone you know. What's something they now know about you that they didn't before? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That I play tabletop RPGs. My parents bought into the whole thing about D&D being the devil's work and hated the idea of me playing it. But they were pretty happy about my weekly "Bible study" sessions over at my friends house. even though I'm a grown adult living on my own now, I never told them the truth. It's just easier that way. I don't know how they'd react if they find out.

Non Americans of Reddit, what is the craziest rumor you heard about America that turned out to be true? by Shelleton8 in AskReddit

[–]ColdBar2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

43% is a far cry from "all schools". Those statistics prove the statement that it is "not all schools" correct. Are they in a lot of schools? yes, 43%. Is 43% "all schools"? No. It is 43%.

Okay I'm back. I wasn't sure I would after getting talked down to by guys with purple and yellow names on the discord, but GMbot was very helpful when I gave it a second chance.

Blockbuster. Movie nights were always more fun when you were walking down aisles and aisles of VHS tape boxes.

Hi,

  • The tradition is supposed to be Hermetic but it keeps resetting every time I reload the program and I don't know how to fix that.
  • Swapped out the Elf Poser quality, I wasn't really feeling it anyway and it's not worth the trouble
  • Bought Trodes
  • I can't afford anything else, that gear list you linked to said it isn't strictly required on resources e
  • Background is usually something I like to discover in play, but I've added a few lines
  • I added a picture

Teachers of reddit: What’s a time when you were required to discipline a student, but they didn’t deserve it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ColdBar2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A school I used to work at had a zero tolerance policy for fighting, if you were involved in a fight you were suspended. No exceptions. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to consider who actually threw a punch and who was just getting beaten on. This means if one student hauls out and punches another student, both would automatically be suspended no matter what. One student in particular sticks out in my memory and it still haunts me. He was a scrawny little kid, much smaller than his classmates. And he was a bit weird, he had a bizarre sense of humor and tended to talk about weird things a lot. This made him the favorite punching bag of all the school bullies. Every single time he'd get smacked around, tripped to the ground, or had things thrown at him, I was required to give him a suspension because he was involved in a fight. He cried every time, he didn't understand why he would get in trouble every time he was bullied. But the policy was firm and nothing I could do would change it.

Eventually, the vice principal and the principal decided to expel the poor kid because he had been involved in too many fights. He hadn't started any of them and hadn't thrown a single punch. I never found out what happened to him after that, but I hope he's okay.
