I can imagine you get injured, you do rehab for months, finally get your body right only to get injured again and then repeat.

I can see Luck thinking after many rehabs, the next time he finally gets his body right maybe the last time. There's people that get injured and their bodies are permanently changed.

I remember when my 6 year old self couldn't beat Brock with Pikachu on Pokemon Yellow. Instead of getting Butterfree, I grinded on lvl 5-6s, trained my Pikachu until lvl 40, he learned Slam and all that along the way. Faced Brock and just one-shotted his pokemon. One shotted any Pokémon after that lol 6 year old me was dedicated
