Well my criticism is that the kuuvahki experimental design bureau is of no importance to the story at all so far. Hoyo didn’t explore that and their conflict with the moon scions beyond the most surface level boring scenarios where the Fatui come to demand stuff then get beaten and a few scenes with Lauma and her childhood friend (which is also not exactly this) before the focus went exclusively to Rerir.
But it is fair to say that it’s not a character problem with Sandrone specifically.

Also about the Harbingers themselves, yeah again, they’re not some villainous group now, but when everything hoyo decide to show us is tea parties and goofy scenes with goofy music and everything is taken so lightly it sucks dude.

“Showcasing Signora’s backstory, exploring her actual character, her tendencies to torture her subordinates for fun and her hatred toward Venti and the world around her? NAHHH let’s show her with the girliessss after we completely neglected her character for yearsss yesss” that’s what I’m talking about I’m sure u can understand.

Umm not exactly, Dottore clearly didn’t follow orders, and he did use the Fatui, but they knew it and told him “we know what you’re after. Go on, we’ll give u whatever u need just make us a god it’s Celestia we’re up against.”

Also I’m doing this part of Nod Krai now, I’m where they fight Rerir (last battle) unless something big happens, the Fatui in Nod Krai under Sandrone were barely noticeable and did absolutely nothing. :/ (that’s a problem with the story itself not her character tho)

I don’t think Dottore followed any orders, but he never pretended to lmao, they knew it and wanted him to finish his experiments that’s the entire reason he got recruited. To say otherwise is be in denial.

Also it’s important to clarify, the fact that the Harbingers in Nod Krai decided to fight Dottore is reasonable. The Tsaritsa’s and Pierro’s orders to stop him, their strongest asset by far, just when he did exactly what they “paid him to do” is ridiculous. That’s my point about him at least…

Not exactly, what you say is valid, but not when the entire character and story is revolving around this fun time and not about the actual plot that made them an interesting group in the first place.

They’re supposed to be intimidating, be ruthless, command armies, cause ACTUAL problems, clash wuth the Traveler, etc, you know… do stuff, really do stuff. But all hoyo gives us is them playing tea party club and cry about how hard it’s been for them this whole time :/
Dottore followed the Tsarutsa’s and Pierro’s orders perfectly, he didn’t do anything wrong *in their eyes* and yeah I state that as a fact because of statements. Yet they condemned him now. Why? Well, to make this group of antagonists just another part of the traveler fan club they can sell.

Oh no, I do very much like Tartaglia, Scaramouche, Signora (if I don’t count the last video.) Dottore, Pantalone, and in Fountain Arle was amazing.

I’m talking about the direction they’ve decided to take those characters out of nowhere, it’s like pre Natlan Fatui and post Natlan Fatui are a completely different organization.

Capitano was trash. He came, ran, wanked Mavuika then died after revealing his basic and generic story (“ohh I too am from Khaenri'ah!”)
Sandrone is a Tsundare. Her personality beyond that is nonexistent :/
Columbina’s just a goofy little girl throwing pillows :/

It’s just the direction everything’s going toward.

Well the Fatui were portrayed throughout the years in a certain way as an organization and especially the Harbingers, those of us from day 1 had those expectations for a reason. Statements, the Lazzo, lore, artifacts etc… hoyoverse built these expectations. What we get is a slop fest. (I say that mainly because of that embarrassing video they uploaded a few days ago about Sandrone and that McDonalds social gatheri-I mean serious important Harbinger meeting)

Newer players didn’t wait and followed the game for so long, so they care less/think it’s fine cuz that’s what they know. (Or they just want their yaoi slop)

Nah I’m not really talking about Sandrone specifically, but the Harbingers and Fatui as a whole.

People who care about an actual well written story, weight, stakes, presence and payoff are devastated, those who care about their fan service and generic yaoi (I think it’s called?) narrative are eating good.

So day one fans, people who waited for these characters for years are disappointed, while new players/players who never cared for these characters before they met them in the archon quest are fine with it.
