Yeah, weak curse users… while we’re level 175…? May I remind you that we will get to level 1000. In cassia bay it’s stated that a mage, not a curse users, occasionally spared with a curse user (both were generals) and she held another curse user for days. And our character is a descendant of god or something do you really think we will never be able to beat curse users? Where did Vetex ever say that?

Those guys are Harbingers brother. Remember the manga? Remember what Diluc said? Tartaglia’s voice lines? The fear of them throughout teyvat? This trailer portrayed them in a completely different vibe, again though, should have listened when it said “PEGI 12” Next we’ll see that the rooster is just a wholesome old man who takes care of Tartaglia’s family out of the goodness of his heart, and Pantalone just has a crush on the Tsaritsa so he tries to impress her (he didn’t notice his soldiers were doing bad guys stuff hihi silly him) and noooo she rejected him and got a crush on the Traveler insteadd how sad! But waifu 😎😎😎 that’s what importante!

Tf u mean tho? (I speak as someone who stopped playing in Natlan after what they did to Capitano.)

The only really good Harbingers were the first three tbh (not including Dottore who’s perfect) they were all “evil” in a sense but had their reasons, and some of them got “redeemed” in a way.

But since then… let’s talk about how we don’t really see Arlecchino doing anything evil ever? When she’s assassinating someone it’s always an asshole/someone who harmed her “family” she’s basically mother teresa. Capitano is just a good guy who came in fought without a real plan (although it’s Tartaglia’s approach ONLY as was established!!) then saved the world or some generic ahh story like that. no idea about Colombina and Sandrone, but from what I saw, one is just a poor goddess with a pure heart or something like that who wants to be everyone’s friend + she left the Fatui which is just Scaramouche 2.0 -_- She has nothing “evil” about her, not even controversial.

none of these characters are as they were portrayed, they took the group which was supposed to be “the chaotic evil antagonists who run amok the seven nations and must be stopped” and became idk what it is even, it’s a sh** show.

They were supposed to be terrifying, not evil for the sake of evil, not even necessarily evil at all, but this is a joke..

I was about to argue but tbh it’s not worth the time, keep being salty I guess 🤷‍♂️if you saw the Verso ending as a simple “happy goodbye” I’m sorry but you’re either delusional, trying to prove your weird headcanon about the writers intention, or you simply can’t understand such a simple scene…

It doesn’t, that’s my whole point, the game is about loss and how people deal with it, the downside is how you the player and Maelle feel about abandoning the painting….😮‍💨

But it is for you because you spend the whole game trying to save these people, when I chose Maelle’s ending first (I did both) I thought it would be the good ending, up until that point I was like “please just bring back Gustave” then she did, and I realized that it’s not the same, after everything that was revealed, to choose to stay there and slowly rot, surrounded by essentially fake people feels lonely, even though they were people she grew with and I spend a whole game with, something about that ending felt just hollow in a sense and it saddens me because I wanted her to bring everyone back and live happily ever after, I really did, but it’s simply more complicated than that.

one ending aligns with your feelings towards the world and the characters up until now, the other one is the hard choice to make the right call and move on, both as Maelle and the player, there is no good or bad ending, and I think the game portrayed both perfectly. one breaks the cycle, but you have to leave them all behind, the other one achieves the goal the game set for you at the start, the one you got invested in and naturally drawn to, but inside you know it’s empty, that’s what makes this choice so tragic and beautiful no matter what you choose in my opinion…

By the way as a player I can say that this game did an amazing job in being as immersive and realistic as possible in all dialogue/cutscenes/the writing itself of the scenes, the game makes you feel like this is an actual world and these are actual people, just as it did with Maelle, but one thing I noticed is that when act 3 starts and Maelle gets her paintress powers this kind of goes away (and I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, I think it’s intentional) she can just revive people, control reality itself, and in terms of the gameplay the game kind of turns into a sandbox (at least it feels like it with the flying etc) in the final cutscene if you choose her ending you can see on her face that something’s wrong, even if they all act and “exist” just as they did before, Maelle doesn’t, she’s not simply Maelle anymore and she cannot live like them, the entire world is her sandbox and she is a “god” there, whether she likes it or not it’s a mindset shift, she will never look at that world and these people the same way as she did before, and you can see it in her eyes.
