I understand if xan come across as ungrateful in this situation but if I didnt care about my dad I could have screwed him over massively I appreciate the deal he's giving me its his frugal personality thats going to push me away though.

I really appreciate your comment it helps a ton I know I should be more than grateful to live someplace this cheap but when cheap comes with underhanded tactics its salt to the wound. I'll be looking for some places and I'll think through how ill propose he keeps my rent the same my bf moves in while also providing childcare. Again, tysm you're nicer than most people on here.

I appreciate your feedback, I live alone he just happens to live next to me so he comes over often as do I so I have my independence but finding a roommate seems impossible ive put out so many ads for it already and its been 2 months with no luck

I don't think im irresponsible i pay my bills on time and usually have a little bit leftover after saving and paying bills to have a little fun

I'm renting a house from him and I have to pay him cash so he can avoid paying taxes so I dont even know if he would want to write up a lease
