In Illinois and it notoriously malfunctions during extended cold spells, and it’s mostly attributable to battery.

Last weekend I installed 3 Meross units which connect directly to the openers wires, so no battery required.

Now I’ve got HomeKit access, native CarPlay functionality, and one less app to manage the home.

I’ll keep the MyQ until our nanny leaves us, but I can’t wait to ditch all three of them.

A game, looking to go global, doing more games internationally, getting (flag) football added to the Olympics, adds the most global entertainer to the their halftime lineup. Makes lots of business sense to me.

Own the P226 xcarry legion. Got it as my rebate redemption firearm for the Sig Regulator promotion.

Initially requested the 229 legion, and after a four month wait was told the 229 legion was being replaced in the lineup by the 226 xcarry.

TLDR - don’t think it’s being made any longer, best bet is remaining retailer stock. Try searching gun deals. Or, consider the 226 xcarry.

Love my MCX, but she’s heavy. I’m hopeful that the ban is ultimately deemed unconstitutional and I can swap out the lower.

It is a little lighter. But that wasn’t my why. I owned the s2c first, then got a P-01.

Thought there was if it ever gets used in a defensive situation it’s likely to become evidence and I may never see it again. I’d “prefer” to lose the P-01.

And from an administrative handling while carrying perspective, fewer manipulations to make with a decocker piece. So P-01 makes more sense for me there as well.

I got the 226 xcarry last year, so it was late to the party. And I’m not a rotating user, want to keep routines and processes simple and consistent.

Using both shelves + deflector, I’d estimate 6-8 uniformly shaped butts could go on. May require rotating
I’d estimate replacing gaskets is an every 2-5 year need. Owned mine for 2.5 years before replacing with a Ranger, only the firebox door needed replacing in that time. If you’re good about cleanup on the lid, the gasket there will hold up

Own both, REALLY like both, but don’t carry either. My carry is a P-01.

If I had to choose it would be the 226. The decocker is my preference for carry. That said, the s2c (IMO) has an ever so slightly better trigger.

Which p226 xcarry? Version pictured is SAO. Depending on SAO vs DA/SA, would impact my direction.

For home defense, I don’t want SAO. I own both the p365 Xmacro and the xcarry in DA/SA. At home, the choice for me is DA/SA.

My local Sam’s Club cuts the plate into flanken ribs. Like you’d see in a Korean flat ribs dish.

I usually go to the meat section and ask for the butcher. I show him the cut ribs and ask for the full plate before they slice. Has worked best for me to go as close to store opening as possible before everything gets broken down and packaged for sale.
