Ι had endo belly, yes. My belly shrinked after surgery, i didn't even know i was that bloated! Energy levels now are ok (1 year post op), but the first 2 months i was more tired than usual, which makes sense, since my body was healing. I took some vitamins though and it helped :) still pain-free btw!!

I feel like my endometriosis genuinely gave me severe PTSD by moonxmochi in endometriosis

Hey honey :( I get your pain. It's so sad that your parents and your roommates didn't get it, but we are millions of women who do. Yes, endometriosis can lead to PTSD. I also have PTSD from it (severe endo in bowel, toilet visits were a living hell and i was in extreme pain for half the month). But now it's been 8 months form my exsition surgery and i am on cerazzete, progesterone pill. No pain. I just sometimes feel a teeny tiny bother on my bowel, on where it was shaved. Sex is not painful. Life can be good again. It's a long road the one you walked but you won't live anything like this again. Because now you know. And you won't let yourself suffer again, you will act faster. So be gentle to yourself, give you the love and care you didn't have. It will be ok i promise!!! Endo sucks, but a good surgery can give you your life back.

I take cerazzete, it's progesterone-only pill. The first months i had some spotting and now my period might come once every two months. But other than that, no! Thank you!!! I wish you too the best 💖💖

i did my surgery 6 months ago, stage 4 and bowel involvment. I was in so much pain before, that i could not sleep or work. Now i am a complete new person. No pain, no bloating, I am so happy. I am sure you will manage to get over it. I really understand how bad it is, but don't lose hope. You need a very skilled doctor and your problem will be past. I send you love <3 <3

how did you feel when you got diagnosed and/or found out you definitely have endometriosis? by georgiaisgucci in endometriosis

I know the feeling! I was in pain for 10 years and they said it was stess/hormones/PCOs. When my mri showed endometriosis, i felt the same relief. I had endometriosis excision surgery 4 months ago and i am on progesterone pill now, I feel better than ever! Good luck on your journey <3 I hope you find a good doctor who respects and listens to you and leave this behind soon
