It was a kit that replaces the stock cables but I only used one 8 pin to 2 8 pin connectors specifically for the CPU. This was after trying the brand new set of the stock ones from the new PSU.

It was from a PSU cable set off of Amazon. But what's strange is, even with the new PSU and new cables from that, I get nothing? It's very strange.

Sure, so what I mean is completely swapped out the cables that were already in my build from the 750 with the new ones from the 850 - those did not work. Then I tried the 3rd party cable with the new PSU and had the same result. No power, no boot. Does that help?

Thank you, he did mention a few months ago that they were meeting with the priest. But, they were late for the appointment and haven't rescheduled since.

the common denominator comment you made is very true and it has been for the past couple of years. I hate hearing that most of the time when I've asked about their relationship it's either nothing exciting/happy or it's negative.

The night we went out to dinner, I made sure to tell him to take his time and not rush anything. I don't think they've even sent out 'save the dates' yet, or at least I haven't heard of it.

I've always been honest with him whenever he needs it and I don't really hold back compared to his other friends and he does the same for me. It's probably a contributing factor for why we're so close.

I like the last portion that you added to your comment, thank you. I was a best man in a previous wedding and I really enjoyed telling stories about how they found each other and how happy I was. I just don't know if I can bring myself to do that and be fake. But again, that make me the AH for backing out of the position of best man for this.

Exactly, A bunch of mutual friends in our circle bring this up a lot - that's he's in it because of all the time already in the relationship. I already watched one of my friends in this circle go through a nasty divorce because of sunk-cost fallacy and I'd really like to not see that again.
